Has anyone ever played any older games or had some sort of interests or thought, and I mean 64bit era and prior (or 2002 and prior).

Although I personally haven't played a lot of said older games, but I have had an interest in the Golden Age of RPG's. Such examples of games comming from that era are Ultima and Might and Magic.

I was addicted to Super Mario World, Super Mario World 2 (Yoshi's Island), and Zelda Link To The Past. They were amazing games, and still are. :)

I'm not old enough to have played most of those games, but I recently got my hands on some old Fallout games [Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics], and I'm quite addicted to them as well!

I grew up on Sega Genesis, Gameboy Color, Super Nintendo, N64, and the early-ish days of PC gaming. I've had my fill of most of it at this point, though. I can't even play some of my childhood favorites unless I play with ridiculous handicaps, I know them so well.

First game I ever played was Super Mario World for the SNES in a daycare center

My first gaming platform was a Nintendo Gameboy Color with Super Mario Bros. Deluxe and Pokemon Blue.

First television console was the Nintendo 64.

Two years ago a close friend of mine bought me a Super Nintendo Entertainment System with the box, controller, all the wires, and several games. I love those older games

I always sucked at Castlevania on NES, even though it was my first game I was only like 6 when I had it and we eventually lost the cords for the system so I never played the NES again until many years later when I was playing on emulators.

I used to play with games like Castlevania,Super mario world 1 & 2, Megaman 1-3,Punch-out,Urban Champion and Ninja gaiden when I was a child but it wasn't until much later that I started playing much older games. Though they were simplistic in nature, those were perhaps some of the most fun games I've ever played with.

I play some Dungeon Keeper II every now and again, because that game is funny. I also like Mob Rule (Street Wars if you are European).

And if I am with some friends some good old fashioned Unreal Tournament.

Played alot of old school games. 32, so when I grew up I played on the spectrum, OLD pc games(well not old back then)and a atari 2600(I think)

Add on top of that, my uncle worked with importing games, consoles etc, so had access to most.

Fun fact is how I have a custombuilt gaming laptop, and the first thing I did was getting dosbox, emulators etc so I could play the oldies. Think the first game I installed on it was the classic Flashback(brilliant game)

Got My Nes when I was 7 and still have it, and still use it. And so do the kids, even if we have both a wii and a ps3. They are not allowed to play all the time, but when they do its very often the nes and all the games that gets chosen.

Currently I am playing the good old bionic commando, still love that game :P

I bought an N64 at a garage sale. It came with all the classics like Star Fox, Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, Majora's Mask, Ocarana of time and Gex. Those are some of the best games iver ever played.

I'm all about classic PlayStation era JRPGs. They're probably some of my favourites. :) (Like Final Fantasy IX and X)

Also, I'm all about PS2 JRPGs. I love the classic Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy X.

Yes, I'm a Square Enix freak.

Besides Square Enix, there's also the classic Pokémon Gold/Silver, the first Pokémon games I ever played. I love them to death and have played them so many times I essentially know everything about them. Oh and Pokémon Stadium 2. God, that game was brilliant. The music was so classic. Aaaah, nostalgiagasms~

The first gaming-device I got was the Game Boy Color, with Pokemon Blue. At that age I didn't know any English, and thus it was too difficult for me. I also loved the Game Boy Advance (not sure if old school), especially Pokemon emerald. I think it is still the game I've spent most of my life on :P .

Recently my friend challenged me to a battle in Pokemon Emerald, and that is when I returned to playing Pokemon Blue on my Game Boy Color ^_^ . Now I hope I'll finally beat it!

I used to play the Game Boy Color way back then. In the end, however, it died for good.

R.I.P. Game Boy Color (for being my first handheld game, including two Mario games I have beaten) (1989 - 2007)

My first ever videogame was Ducktales on the NES.

I never looked back since. Videogames have been pretty much the central focus of my life to a literal extent.

It was because of videogames that I was able to finally focus, inhibit/destroy my ADHD which was severe as a child, and also allow my mind to open up to slow down and take time to learn things.

I'm gonna be honest when I say that if it wasn't for videogames back when I was a kid, I would be a drooling mess in the corner.

As for consoles I have....weeellll.

NES, SNES, Mega Drive, Master System, N64, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket, and Playstation. Least that's all the ones I still have going back to old days.

I'm on my third NES right now which still has the usual glitches of any NES but is reliable. I did however keep my original NES even if it no longer works, as a relic of my past.

Master System I think is pretty much not working now, or I can't find the right cables. My Mega Drive works superbly, my SNES does too with a little adapter added to it, but the cartridges are so old that they can't hold save files anymore.

Sega Saturn works like a pro I think.

Nintendo 64 is like an old excitable man, it loves to play but after five hours it gets too hot and tired to run and starts to freeze.

Game Boys are all fine, though my original Game Boy's screen no longer works.

Playstation...not sure actually, I think it does but the processor might be on its last legs.

And finally the Dreamcast. All it needs is a little nudging of power connectors to stop it resetting all the time, and it's golden for the day.
