Opinions on FiM's Intro?

It doesn't strike me as ground-breaking or great (as if it's supposed to), but it fits the show's aesthetic.

I personally find the G3 Theme to be better than the G4 Intro Theme because i like the guitar solo there 

Other than that...well its an okay intro, but not one of my favorites.

The Animation itself is great...just almost always exactly the same, which is kinda boring...also the song, as far as i know, also never changes...sometimes a little bit change could be good.

It sucks, I've always skipped it. The Italian version is a lot better.

I actually like the US intro. I don't know why, but it sounds rather catchy to me. Even if I usually skip it when my parents are around =P

 

As for the others, I can agree that the Italian version is much better. Not much of a fan of the Japanese version though.

At first, I cringed, then I got used to it, but now I like it. It's pretty short anyway, so I could bear through it without skipping when I first started watching.

I still skip it. If they should fix anything about it, it should be the voices. The singing voices sound nothing like they do in the the show.

I really like it, but I'll be very disappointed if we never get a GOOD quality fan-made intro of a Game of Thrones pardoy using the Cutie Map.

While I do think that the intro needs to be completely different by this point, I still enjoy it. It is simple, but it gets the point of the show across pretty well and I have always found the song to be catchy, albeit a bit cheesy. I was kinda wishing that for season 5 that the intro would have been different though, so the intro would advance as the show has. A new intro entirely with a new song, new characters and totally different animations would be a breathe of fresh air. 

 

So I like the current intro, always have, but at this point it has become tiresome a bit.

It's okay for an opening. I tend to skip openings and endings of almost everything I watch. The only exceptions are Gravity Falls (because it's short and funny every time), and Gangsta (anime)...because it's so good and pumps me up....

I love the opening, especially the intro song from Season 2 and beyond. It has become a nostalgic piece of the show that I always think of when I think of MLP. I never skip it (or the credits) when watching an episode.

 

I will admit though, that when I first started watching the show, I turned down the intro if I thought someone was going to be able to hear it, lol. I hate to use the word "girlish", but I can't think of another word at the moment. The intro is one of the more "girlish" sounding parts of the show that non-bronies like to make fun of. Nowadays, I don't really care. The intro is awesome. Though, if they changed it, I wouldn't mind to be honest. I'm usually one who's up for change if its good change.

I think it could be updated a little given half the intro,  Twilight is still a normal unicorn and not a Alicorn.   Maybe something with a bit more up beat and stuff and also some more of the side cannons popping up.

Blue, pink, white, orange, yellow, purple. Pegasus, earth pony, unicorn, earth pony, pegasus, unicorn. Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Apple Jack, fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle. If it wasn't for the song, then how would we know what order to put the ponies in when displaying pony mercy on the shelf? Without the song you might put fluttershy next to Pinkie, or AJ next to Dash! It would be as if Discord came in and rearranged all my ponies. Absolute CHAOS, I tell you!!!

 

Big Adventure! Tons of Fun, a Beautiful Heart, Faithful and Strong, sharing Kindness, is an easy feat, and Magic makes it all complete. Sums everything up quite well. Introduces all the mane characters. And "I used to wonder what friendship could be, until you all shared its magic with me" perfectly spells out what the show is about ( Friendship is Magic). Its a lot like the theme song to Gilligan's Island, it sums up the plot, and introduces the characters. Not sure what more you could want from a theme song for a TV show.

I'll admit that previously, every time the intro ran, I would cringe and think things like "why the heck am I watching this", but that was during the first couple of episodes. But now, I like it, I just sing along! It grow on you I think.
