Would you eat someone else's food, if they ate yours?

No. Stealing and revenge are both wrong. I've stolen twice. When I was 12, I stole $10 from my sister to buy concealer. She still doesn't know (she'd freak out if I told her), but I bought her a sketchbook a while back to make up for it. When I was 16 I stole a piece of candy from the grocery store. (My dad says I've stolen things from him, but really I was just borrowing without asking. I planned on returning those things and he didn't actually use most of them.) I feel bad about both incidents. I will not steal again unless I absolutely have to.

I am a person who guards my food with my life. I keep a closer eye on my food than the CIA does on its people...

So in short, I have never been in a situation that would require such a response...

However, if such an event did occur, then I would invade their plate and take as much as they stole, and then some...

what if you're not at home, able to guard your food, when the person eats it? Or you are, and just don't monitor what the person is eating, at the time?

As in, my roommate starts raiding my side of the fridge when I am away? Then I would take a fair share of stuff from their side of the fridge, particularly the expensive stuff.

You see, there are four of us in the dorm, with two fridges. The fridge me and my roommate use is almost like East and West Berlin. Security at the Border is an utmost priority of mine...

Does the Onion grace my presence?

I consider eating something of somebody else's food stock and indirect kiss, so they better have some god-tier explaining to do :V

But if it's my other half, I wouldn't mind, since I share virtually everything anyways, particularly food.

This needs context because there’s a lot of depends. Is this family, friends, coworker or a stranger? Is deliberate or an accident? Do they feel bad or are they blowing it off? It all depends on the situation. I could be forgiving or ill be confronting and arguing.

Eyes for an eye.

Tooth for a tooth.

Casserole for a casserole.
