Where will the show go from the cutie map?

Now don't get me wrong I love the introduction if the cutie map and how much dimension has been added to the show because of it, but where do the writers go from here? the mane 6 have pretty much discovered their destinies to solve friendship problems across equestria but do we really want to be seeing the same gimmick season 6 and onwards? This makes me think that the s**t is going to hit the fan in the season 5 finale something that will change the plot significantly. maybe the need to visit the tree of harmony again IDK. And now with the events of s5e18 upon us how do the cmc fit ito the bigger picture what do you all think what can they do to further develop the mane 6 and to continue writing captivating main storylines?

Well evidence seems to point towards the idea that the show will end with the 2017 movie. So if that's the case then things won't get boring as the show will end after the next season. If not then I guess they'll just have the map point towards other problems (I mean there's no real limit on how many problems there can be). Although that would get old after a while.
