Well, you better start praying.Japanese scientists are planning to clone woolly mammoths within a few years.

They are reptiles, but more closely related to birds of course.

Do you mean We're back a Dinosaur's Story???

I said lifelike, not cartoon.

Well, mammoths aren't dinosaurs, they're mammals, but nobody knows what can scientists do when cloning technologies improve.I don't think mammoths are dangerous, only if you make them angry, plus they're cute, aren't they???

If you're a dinosaur fan,how you began liking them???For me it was when i watched Jurassic Park

The first movie I ever remember watching (like EVER) was Disney's Fantasia.  I probably drove my mom insane having her rewind or fast-forward to the dinosaur part.  I also came love Stravinsky as my favorite composer because of this :) My favorite piece is Firebird

OH THE FEELS

My grandfather was a geophysicist and entertained my obsession :)  He had a first edition copy of "Evolution of the Vertibrates" that he gave to me and it is my prized possession.

My brother and I used to watch The Land Before Time when we were kids. I like dinosaurs, but I'm really a fan of megafauna in general. It makes we wonder why animals were so big in the past. :3

On a related note, am I the only person who didn't like Jurassic Park? :o

Land Before Time played a big role, but I also just enjoyed playing with my toy dinosaurs and I also had some really cool dinosaur story books (I don't have them anymore, but they were awesome. Had nice artwork, and cool, sometimes dark stories. Need to find those online)

Not sure how. I watched a lot of Dino movies when I was young (Jurassic Park, the land before time, etc). I even had a somewhat large collection of dinosaurs in my room at one point. I sold most of them am this year since they eventually made it to a box stuffed in a closet; somebody else will have more fun with them than I would. I kept the oldest ones for myself, of course.

I'm not sure of the exact moment I fell in love with dinosaurs (I was really young), but my early childhood was completely filled with them. I had a lot of dinosaur toys (regularly pestered my parents to buy me one from the Early Learning Centre whenever we were shopping), my favourite films were things like Jurassic Park and Land Before Time and I had "documentary" videos about them that I watched over and over again. I had some episodes of Dino Riders on video! I bought/borrowed loads of books to learn all about them, I got a regular magazine about dinosaurs that came with bits of a dino skeleton to build up every week. I wanted to be a paleontologist (thinking it basically meant Jurassic Park and digging for dino bones).

Dinosaurs were my first passion in life, and to this day I do think that dinosaurs can make almost anything cooler. It's a shame there's not more dino stuff in pop culture these days.
