spoiler Luna is the only one who can end Nightmare Moon. A good closing on Luna's story?

Do Ponies Dream of Magic Sheep? was a great episode and one of my favorite from season 5. I still think Nightmare Moon can be used in the show more. It's the classic confrontation of fears. Like Luke confronting his dark side(image of Vader) in the cave from Empire Strikes Back. Luna is the only one to end Nightmare Moon forever. She forgave herself in season 5, but I think there's still that dark self in her. Have an episode possibly where she faces NMM and Luna gets taunted about her mistakes and eventually Luna erases NMM from existence.

The whole point is facing your dark side and only Luna can tame Nightmare Moon and subdue her.

It will be a good finale. But would be interesting if she turns into Nightmare Moon sometimes.

Luna actually seems to have full control over her Nightmare Moon form now though.  She's shown that in previous episodes of the show where she does appear in that form.

 

What I think would be more interesting is if there were some entity or evil being that actually was the one who creates those evil personas.  I would want to know more about him or her.
