It got cancelled. Jimmy Neutron legit ended with the third Jimmy Timmy Power Hour. Hey Arnold never properly ended so it makes sense to bring it back, but JN ended fine. I'd much rather they bring back a cancelled series like My Life As A Teenage Robot, Danny Phantom or Invader Zim, especially since those have some pretty notable fanbases

Well this was unexpected... Kinda makes sense seeing as JN was pretty big back in the day. Still though there's plenty of other things that could be rebooted.

Definitely not something I would have expected. :| I mean, I like JN and all, but I think it had it's run. Why not try to revive Planet Sheen which did not last long at all? I never did get to watch it though so I am not sure of it's quality. This seems like a really strange move on Netflix's part.

I have a feeling this either won't see the light of day or complications will happen. Viacom (owner of Nick) and Netflix have had so many problems with each other in the past. Netflix had to remove a majority of Viacom's series because Viacom basically demanded more money and didn't feel "safe" having their content for streaming even though Netflix is pretty secure. Basically Viacom has always had a crappy relationship with Netflix so unless they both are finally able to work together then this either won't last long, or it won't see the light of day. On the plus side if it does happen, maybe we will finally see Viacom series return to Netflix and freakin' stay there.

 

I also question the legitimacy of this since I can only find the one article and it pretty much says "unless someone can come up with something better."

Sorry to disappoint, but I don't think this is happening. I've never heard of this source, and I couldn't find any other site reporting this. Plus, they said it will be out in April, which seems a little fast for a cartoon. To top it all off, I asked the guy who runs Nick and More (which is a reliable source and he knows a lot about this stuff) and he said it wasn't reliable.

Judging on how the article says unless something else better happens and how pretty much everything Nick related was wiped off of Netflix, I don't think this is going to happen.

I totally forgot about Jimmy. I used to watch that show quite a lot.. I don't know if I'd watch a reboot, cuz I've kinda turned to other things, but it'd be interesting to see the differences. :3

I wasn't big on JN even when it was first coming on TV. The character design was unappealing IMO. And I don't recall ever finding anything funny in the show.
