@,I don't know about you, but I find that hard to believe. The game may have been scrapped and Valve probably wouldn't tell us.

-Downfall (Prequel/Sequel(?) to The Cat Lady).

 

-Starfox Zero-I've been waiting for a new Starfox game for over a decade now and since Platinum involved and is incorporating the transformation mechanic from the cancelled Starfox 2, I'm more optimistic.

 

-JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven looks pretty cool and what I've seen of the original game has me excited for it to come to the West.

I wouldn't assume so, as most games now are a lot more advanced than games that were being released for the PS3/Xbox 360. Seeing how those consoles are almost 3 years old now, I'm not really sure if companies would even be interested in working on a last-gen version.

 

However, the last PS2 game officially released was in 2014, 7 years after the PS3 came out, so who knows? It could happen.

 

(Probably not with Doom though, at least. Seeing how Fallout 4 wasn't for last-gen)

I think Yooka-Laylee and A Het in Time are compatible with the old consoles.

 

PS2 also got huge sales and developers still supported it. That also goes for the X360.

What even comes out this year?

 

Twilight Princess HD and potentially Kingdom Hearts II.8. I guess there's also that Mario and Luigi game that I might try.

 

So for the most part, year of the remasters for me. Yay. Oh well, less money spent on video games, the better.

 

 

Yay for someone else who is looking forward to Twilight Princess HD and Kingdom Hearts 3. RIght now those are about the only games i'm looking forward to. I mean of course I'm looking forward to Legend of Zelda U, but without having an official release date for it... It's hard to say if it's going to be on my games i must get in 2016. When ever it does have a solid release date, it will been on my "Games I Must Get" list for sure.

Being lazy and just listing franchise names: Star Fox, Zelda, DOOM, Deus Ex, Dragon Quest.  Part of me wants to say Final Fantasy VII, but I've had very mixed feels about the remake for a while.  Learning that it was going to be episodic in nature probably bugged me more than even the revamped battle system.

XCOM 2 by far. It's been one of my most anticipated games since I heard of its development.

It's tied with Dark Souls 3 for my hype.
