Shake your Tail too suggestive for a little girl's show?

This whole 'fear of the human body' thing really needs to die off. Oh no, a butt shaking reference. And? Oh no, a belly button and AJ tummy. Aaaaaaaaand? What exactly is the big deal again? Are we trying to teach kids that they DON'T have a butt or belly button including a tummy region?

Referencing the human body at all doesn't automatically mean sexualization. Referencing the human body isn't scarring the 'poor children'.

If this is inappropriate then 99% of all kids shows would be taken down, sponge-bob has alot of sexual innuendos for example and we live in the 21st century where most kids are f'ing and blinding by the time their 12 anyway. You would have to be a super liberal or SJW to actually get offended by shake your tail lmao

I dunno, a lot of parents apparently didn't like this

Yeah after all, parents don't have belly buttons.

I'm sorry but a belly button isn't suggestive nor is a clothed ass. Any parent who complains I am pretty sure exposed their kids to their own clothed ass. Dancing requires your ass, your ass is more than just a sexual thing, it's just like how boobs are not inherently sexual. Kids don't see ass and go "WHOA NOW I SUDDENLY AM MATURE. MY BALLS DROPPED AND I WANT THE SEX."

I don't think it is, and I think we need to stop coddling and being alarmist as a race before we become a dystopian big-brother society where nothing is acceptable and everyone is robbed of their freedom to do anything for risk of offending someone somewhere. When we focus too much on taking things away because they might offend or in this case be "too suggestive", we slowly but surely begin progressing down a path that takes away all the joys of life, until nothing is left but an empty black & white void. What is and is not acceptable is subjective, and so when we you try to cater to everyone, we begin to lose everything, because someone, somewhere, is offended by whatever is left.

You should see the stuff we got away with in the early-mid 90's, and kids grew up just fine. I point to Animaniacs as an example.

No, it's not suggestive in the least. Honestly, kids aren't delicate little snowflakes who will fall apart at the mere idea of butts existing. They might say something along the lines of 'haha, butts', but that's entirely unrelated to anything that could be labeled 'suggestive'. Besides, do you really think a kid is going to have any kind of sexual reaction to something like this? They don't even know the meaning of the word, and even if they do it's so tame they still wouldn't associate it with it.

No more like a soccer mom than a SJW. SJWs hate masculinity and call everything racist or sexist.

I'll just echo the majority here.  It's fine.

Exactly.  I think that extreme over-censorship of the human body and harmless references to it can actually be damaging in it's own way.  Kids should be taught that there's nothing wrong with their body, and I happen to think that this song actually sends a subtle, positive message to that effect.

That said, I didn't get around to watching goofy EG until a few days ago, and even though I'm not fond of the lore and continuity in these movies, I absolutely ADORE this song.  It's one of my favorite songs in the whole MLP franchise now.  It just makes me want to burst with joy.

Duuuuude! That song is about SHAKING IT. More specifically, dancing. Moving your body so much that you manage to shake your tail, if anything. Don't you have to move your ass to dance? I think ya do. Dancing is just a way to have fun and booty doesn't always have to be sexualized. <3

Pfft it's fine. Honestly, I haven't thought much of how it's implying me to shake my butt, but either way should be fine. It's not like it's tell me to go any further anyways. I'm sure a little butt wiggle is fine.
