Would you want a cutie mark?

This is, of course, assuming everybody else also got cutie marks, so you wouldn't be a mutant or anything.

I myself don't think I would want a cutie mark, the fun of life is pursuing happiness, and that involves finding out who we really are.

Sure fillies do this, but once they find their cutie marks, there's no doubt what they'll become.

But if you don't have a cutie mark, then there is always that inclination in the back of your head, that maybe this goal, or hobby, or career isn't for you. And you burst with fulfillment if you stick with it, and it was the right choice.

What do you think? Would cutie marks help us out? Would you want one?

I don't think so. I'd rather not have a tattoo on me bum that tells me what I'm supposed to be good at.

If we all really did have cutie marks, I'd probably be a blank flank anyway. I'm okay at a lot of things, but I haven't found anything that I'm truly skilled at.

Nope, I definitely wouldn't want one. It's very thrilling (and fulfilling) to explore new realms and finding what you're good at, especially at an early age. Even as you grow up, you could find other things you're good at, and pursue those.

I definitely wouldn't wanna trade out all that exploration for a definitive "yep this is what you're good at, you should do this" answer. It seems like it'd make exploring feel rather pointless, something along the lines of "Why would I try that out when I know I'm good at this? I know for a fact I won't be as good as what I'm doing now, because it's my cutiemark".

That, and I wouldn't want two symbols permanently stuck on my plot. :P

I'm an everything kinda man, so I would need one big ass to describe what I'm good at! ^_~

Yes. So much. Because not only would you have full conformation of what you're meant to do (which is generally something you love), but then everyone else would know too, and I think it'd be harder to put people in places they don't belong if everyone can see where you're truly meant to be.

hmmm... to be honest I dont know if I would like it. on the one side I know what I am supposed to do and got a pretty picture on my bum but on the other side you can't remove it and you are stuck doing one thing your whole live.

I would be fine with it. A Cutie Mark is more than just 'this is what you will become' or whatever, it is more about who you are overall, it can match who you are, not determine it. So I would be okay with that honestly, as long as people would not obsess about it, which know humanity, it would soon be subject of elitism and all of that nonsense.

Oh, I wouldn't want a Cutie Mark. I would totally feel trapped in one Thing that I have to do my whole life. Many People need a lifetime to explore their Destiny, and so do I. It's real Fun in my opinion. I prefer staying flexible with my determination :)

Honestly, probably not. It's one thing to have a special talent, but i wouldn't want to go around with a graft on my body expressing it. That's going a little bit too far.
