Fanmade PMVs?

What do you all think of PMVs, or any fan made content.

Personally, I love PMVs and fanmade things.

I have the same opinion with them as I have with AMV's 

 

There are really good ones, and then there are just someone picking their favorite song showing clips from mlp with it.

If there's real hard work and effort put into them, yeah, I love them. I'm an editor myself so I enjoy seeing what others can create. But like Buck Testa said, some people just add their favorite song and random clips from the show. Those are not enjoyable.

I'd rather not spill my life story (and I'm sure you don't want to hear it) so I'll shorten it down to this: There's was a time when I felt the worst I ever had, depression, suicidal thoughts, the whole package, and by chance, I came across this:

 

 

Another one of those "Keep trying, everything will be great!" songs. None of which ever helped me, but this one, set to pony visuals pretty much carried me out of my bad spot. If not that it would have been something else (I hope anyway) but in this instance it was that one, and I couldn't be more grateful that it exists

Still, the amount of work and style in it is glorious
