What is your favorite episode of each Season?

Season 1: Party of One. Fun episode overall, specialy with Pinks going crazy with those inanimate objects 

 

Season 2: Canterlot Wedding: OH COME ON, THOSE WERE THE EPISODES WHICH MADE ME BRONY IN THE FIRST PLACE

 

Season 3: Magical Mystery Cure: This is where ponies changed my life for the better, starting to made me find feeling of joy I thought forgotten 

 

Season 4: Twilight's Kingdom: MLP Ball Z, nuff said

 

Season 5: Uhmmmm, that;s hard to pick on. While many episodes where underwhelming, and the finale also in comparison, most of the later half of season are some of my favorite episodes, like Brother Hooves Social, Amending Fences, Slice of Life, Rarity Investigates Hearthbreakers just to name some

You know, I really have no idea which seasons most of the episodes I have seen are from. But I can tell you that my favorite season 1 episode was the pilot episode, and my favorite season 5 episode was the Cutie Map. There's still a handful of episodes I haven't seen, so... (I'm too lazy to hunt them down).

Season 1: Fall Weather Friends

AppleDash is one of my two favorite ships and this episode just oozes it.

 

Season 2: Hearth's Warming Eve

The humor in that episode, especially AJ's snark against Pinkie Pie's insanity, is amazing.

 

Season 3: Magical Mystery Cure

Lots of really good songs and while it was a bit rushed, I really love it and I still get the chills whenever Twilight finishes that spell. "From all of us together, together we are friends, with the marks of our destinies made one, there is magic without end."

 

Season 4: Twilight's Kingdom

Okay, so Twilight's fight with Tirek was a bit OTT, but it was justifiable. Also I loved Discord's genuine hurt at being betrayed, and especially the dark echo 'Surely you saw this coming'. Amazing episode.

 

Season 5: Slice of Life

Seriously, how could I not love this one? So many fan theories confirmed, even two of the coolest ships have basically been canonized here. The best part is that it was so obviously not serious they even jumped the shark. It's at once a 'thank you' to the fans and a mild 'screw you' to everyone who takes it seriously.

Series 1:  The Show Stoppers (Runner up: tied between Winter Wrap up, Suited for Success and Sonic Rainboom)

 

Series 2:  Lesson Zero (with notable mentions to Luna Eclipsed and Read it and Weep)

 

Series 3:  Magical Mystery Cure (best song in series however, scooped by the CMC in One Bad Apple)

 

Series 4:  Twilight's Kingdom (Best costume/makeup: Fluttershy in Bats!)

 

Series 5:  Crusaders of the Lost Mark (Best ensemble cast: Slice of Life.  Special award for recurring character that really needs to stop recurring goes to Discord for his lackluster outings in Make new Friends but Keep Discord, and What About Discord)

[Rainbow Diamonds 282]

1. Suited for Success (Rarity! Also, it had a great song, a great lesson, and a great story overall. This is my only Rarity episode on the list, but I love her episodes.)

 

2. Read it and Weep (Daring Do, Rainbow Dash reading, and Rainbow finally reading)

 

3. Wonderbolts Academy (Wonderbolts, Soarin, Rainbow Dash)

 

4. Flight to the Finish. (Scootaloo, Rainbow Dash, Hearts as Strong as Horses, Go to episode for explaining why I love Rainbow Dash. Her enthusiasm, Miss Harshwhinny, trying to be professional.)

 

5. Crusaders of the Lost Mark  (The Cutie Mark Crusaders got their cutie marks, and Diamond Tiara was reformed. (I think Silver Spoon was, too, but I'm not entirely sure.)

Season 2: Read It And Weep

My favorite episode ever.

 

Season 3: Sleepless in Ponyville

Love the ambiance in this one.

 

Season 4: Bats!

Also has my favorite song of the show.

 

Season 5: Crusaders of the Lost Mark

Season 3: Keep Calm and Flutter On. The return of Discord. What's not to like? Magical Mystery Cure was also a good episode, albeit a bit rushed.

 

Season 4: Twilight's Kingdom. Minus the Rainbow power designs.

 

Season 5: Crusaders of the Lost Mark. Probably the best episode in the entire series. But it have a lot of competition, since this season have a lot of good episodes: Make new friends but keep Discord, Slice of Life and Amending Fences to name a few.
