Sorry for the late response errypony, i actually kinda forgot this thread existed!      But anyway, let's get on with the answers! 

 

What is your opinion of the fandom and how far we've come?

I think it's absolutely frikkin' insane! In a good way though. I mean, who would have thought that MY LITTLE PONY, of all things, would not only be popular, but also create one of the kindest, creative, and most accepting fandoms out there? I dunno, but if someone actually thought that, he/she is a PSYCHIC. And touching on the fandom a bit more, i think it's great! Not perfect, mind you, but definitely not deserving of all the s**t it gets. 

 

Why ponies?

Not even i know the answer to that, in all honesty. If i had told my 10-year old self that in 8 year's time, i'd be obsessing over MLP, and saying that MLP improved my life dramatically, i would have laughed in my own face! But in all seriousness, i was drawn to MLP 'cause i was depressed, and i was in that stage of life where i was beginning to see reality for what it is, so MLP seemed like a nice way to cope.....but it quickly became SO much more. Since i joined this fandom, I've become more open-minded and accepting, more emphatic, and more accepting of myself. I would have never seen it coming in a million years, but i'm SO glad i found ponies.

tolerant? most of them dislike alicorn OCs, yep same people that claim to "love and tolerate"

anyways do you ever feel the curiosity to look at the previous generations? you know g1 to g3? you will surprice how some characters are the same and the evolution until this

Well, hypocrisy IS part of the human condition, so that's to be expected. But I still think that this Fandom is better-than-average, and I doubt that opinion will change anytime soon.

 

As for previous generations....not really, no. While it might be interesting, I got into MLP for G4, and I mainly want to keep it that way.
