A new mane 6 for a future series.

There is a possibility that season 6 will be the last, and the movie will be the send off.

 

However Hasbro tends to deal with their properties in generations. So I like the idea of Legend of Korra/The Next Generation situation where there is a new group of friends who have to learn friendship lessons and become closer to each other. New personalities, new dynamics, new stories, new character developments...

Honestly they should stay away from the "learning friendship lessons" thing from now on unless they want to start repeating themselves. Especially if they do a next generation thing where all the same lessons have already been canonically learned in that universe, albeit by different ponies. It would just get dull to have to sit through it again.

I would even welcome a complete new drawing style.

 

In the moment i personally lost interest in G4 anyway, maybe a new Generation makes me want, to watch Mlp again.

Don't say "I know it, because hasbro said they want to work with the "Franchise" for another 5 years in 2013." A franchise is not the series first of all and secondly, this announcement was 3 years ago.

As much as i'd miss the current Mane 6, i'd be down with a new pone crew if they were just as well-written. And cute. Can't forget the cuteness.

A little change wouldn't hurt anybody, the show is far from ending after this season and the movie being an appropriate send off. A new Mane 6 would only be possible if our unsung heroes were done doing their jobs, but dare to dream.

As for the topic itself, i would really appreciate it. For the new series, we could have a totally new original cast of characters, maybe even a totally new universe.
