What do you think of the Gamelolt MLP Game?

Me personally, I have a love and hate relationship with it. I love the game because it has really good graphics and the ponies look amazing (and the game includes nearly all of the ponies from the show in the game) but at the same time I absolutely hate it because it's more of a waiting and spending game more than anything. I swear, watching paint dry would probably be much more quicker to watch than this game. By the time a single building is complete a Nokia phone's battery would of gone from 100% to 0% somewhere in the world.

Want Princess Cadance? Unless you can make 90 gems then you sure won't get your hands on her. In fact the game really does try it's best to force you to make a payment for gems in the first place,. The prices are ridiculous, it can range from 1.99 pounds to something like 49.99 pounds. The prices make Star Wars Battlefront: Deluxe Edition a good deal.

The game features 3 playable areas. Ponyville, Canterlot and Everfree Forest. Ponyville and Canterlot are building areas while Everfree Forest is more like an exploration area. I haven't had chance to explore anything yet because the amount of coins needed to advance forward 1 zone in the forest in unbelievable. What's worrying is that there are LOADS of zones to unlock. This area will drain your money much more faster than a steam sale.

The minigames are fine. The ball throw, Apple catching and Flying stage are great to kill boredom but the Star Minigame is complete garbage. You have to drag your hands across the screen star to star to win this minigame but anymore of this and my hands will be going through the screen instead.

There is a dress up place in this game but really I don't really set foot in there, I like my ponies the way they are. I LOVE the equestria girls dance minigames but the only problems I can find with that is the fact that you need to be playing every chance you can to get all the awards... and the waiting times. This game feels like your in an amusement park, but instead of going on the rides your standing in completely long queues for hours waiting for the experience most of the time.

Then you have the mine cart minigame which like equestria girls is quite good but instead your waiting for cart wheels. What makes this game good is the fact you can you COLLECT the wheels. I don't know about you but this game seems to despise me and I can't seem to find wheels anywhere, maybe it just wants to see me suffer.

Okay I think I have gone off on a tangent enough. Discuss below what you think of the game. Maybe our feelings for it our mutual or maybe we are the complete opposite.

(Writers Note: I think I would make a good game reviewer  ^_^  ^_^ )

I would say I have some of the same feelings toward the game. It does make you wait FOREVER to clear any sort of trash or rock. The Parasprites are what I really hate. They waste shards and are stupid frustrating. The artwork is nice, and the mini-games are pretty fun. I really love the minecart and dance games. The gems can be difficult to obtain, but you never have to spend a dime on the game (which I love ^_^) All-in-all it's a decent game with a few flaws.

If I had to choose between saving myself and saving others,

                                                            I would save both.   :comeatus:

It's essentially a carbon copy of some of the awful time-sink Facebook games I used to "play," only with ponies.  Obviously, the "with ponies" element makes it better than the others, but it still doesn't make it a good game.

It's another in the line of millions of FarmVille rip offs and heavily relies on one of my most hated business practices that thrive on the iPhone market, and just makes me want a legit Pony game even more

When you install the hack that makes it so you don't need gems it's okay, but still it loses its fun very fast.

It nearly gets me laughing when I see the Pay2Win (win with who? maybe it's more like Pay2Unlock) element mentioned earlier. Heck, even quests, which are really the very base of the game (and as such should be easily accessible without paying) very often require gems. Buy 10 shops (for gems), 5 ponies (for gems), some fancy decorations which are useless most of the time (either for gems or for tremendous amount of bits). BUT, I still play dammit. As to thing with Equestria Girls when you said that you have to play non-stop to get all the awards, in the given 6 days for a cycle I make 2 runs through it without playing maniacally. Make sure you have 2 friends (it REALLY helps, you get at least 1.5 times more points) and it's not so hard. Also, when you reach the last box more than one time in one period, you don't get a pony, and it kinda sucks.

It sucks. IN APP PURCHASES MAKE IT A PAY TO WIN GAME. but the equestria girls part is really fun.

I inhale dank memes, and i intend to make a dank signature soon. I also have shyabetes btw.
