technical issue Can't Link My Youtube to my Profile

I wanted to link my youtube page to my profile page, but it doesn't seem that I'm able to.

 

See, if you didn't create a Youtube Channel before 2014, then you don't have a custom URL for your youtube channel with your Username on it. I think this might be part of the problem.

 

Could I get some help with this, I'd like to link my main youtube page to my profile for all of you but at the moment I can not. I hope this issue isn't too difficult to solve.

I already created a Topic about this Issue a few years back and no, there is nothing the Stuff can do.

 

You simply have to wait, until you get a custom Url.

 

But you can put your Youtube Link in your " About me " Page, than the Link should work.

Sadly, what Supergirl Rarity said is true, @Seraph. This is due for how the links are generated when you insert a link on the boxes.

Well According to Youtube, I can't get a Custom URL till I'm 30, which is an arbitrary number I might add.

Sadly it doesn't work like that, due for how the linking process redirects to "User", rather than "Channel", which will just lead to a screen saying that "This channel does not exist"

 

And for display's sake, you can always make an hyperlink to avoid the problem of how long your link is, like this.

How to hyperlink? Either:

-Use this bbcode:

Insert text here[code]

-Or you can use the Link option on the text editor, where you highlight the text that you want to hyperlink and you click on here:

And you will be given the option to paste a link, where it becomes self explanatory.
