Started raining! But at least it's cooler. Yesterday it was bonkers 28° in here.

The heat is on, the heat is oh-on... The heat is on... On the street.

 

So summer decided to come back, with vengeance. Sure it is only 26 so degrees Celsius, but it gets to you!

 

I love me some heat though

Same here, I think it may be our hottest day for this year, Met Office saying 31°C for Boston (UK!) this afternoon.

Anyone want to trade my summer for yours? Mine is currently 20 degrees C, cool wind, and almost 0 mosquitoes, but a lot of random showers, and slightly cold during the night, and dark too!

I know how that feels. I kinda want that, and Germany is not that far away from Sweden. Maybe we will get the heat back once more? Also happy August to you!

It's actually pretty cloudy here at the moment, it did storm quite a bit last night though.

Was a bit stormy but it passed by.

Also this is fun to listen too . I used to watch this channel a lot when I was younger. Mostly to watch the weather back then though. Not this old of course.. so retro.

Wow, that's a long time ago!

I do remember when The Weather Channel had that color scheme and looked kinda like that.

I was born April 1994, so I was still unborn then to watch this specifically .
Id say I watched it most often in the early 2000s as I wanted to be a meteorologist then. Plenty of that around . The scheme was mostly blue. Looking back now it feels pretty nostalgic.

Scheme is obviously much more modern now.

Turned out, yesterday got up to 32°C (today is "only" 24°C)

Had the fan on in my bedroom all night, the problem is the walls absorb the heat, this morning about 8 am the dining room was still 26°C altho it was much cooler outside

I heard it will get warm/hot tomorrow, but today was chilly... I do want some crazy summer back, just for a while longer. Winter is so long and boring

Hotter than the Seventh Circle of Hades. (Well no probably not.)

32°C says Met Office site, 31 in my dining room. Jockstrap & garters weather

Think I'll open a beer a bit of alcohol helps me cope better.

It is hot ... too hot. 33°C, and we will have these weather for minimum the next week, sometimes with around 35°C or more. And no rain. It looks like Autumn in our forests. The third dry summer in row.

HHHHHHOOOOOT!! It's 29 deg here! I am just getting that nice layer of sweat that makes things very uncomfortable, anyone wants a hug?

They keep threatening thunderstorms wish they'd hurry up.

Nice wind from the NNE which is good, otherwise would be as bad as yesterday.

Slightly warmer than it was last week. Mid 80s with a few thunderstorms.

Yeah, 31°C is nothing over here in the midwest this time of the year. We've seen temps up to 40°C.

Rain (finally), wind and thunderstorm, but still really warm 24°C (it is 10:15 PM).

It is August, last month of the summer. My entire July was cool and rainy. If that keeps up, the fall will take over. However, we had a 30 degree Celsius day here, and that means really hot, unbearable. But since I know how easy it is to lose the summer, I did enjoy the day

Late Wednesday evening we had a thunderstorm that broke our heatwave, I was in Cheshire staying over in a B&B. Was sat in bed watching the lightning and the rain, was like straight out of a Hammer Horror movie.   Took the power out somewhere too, power was off couple of hours next morning for repairs.

Not so hot like the last days. Only 23°C, but still really humid.

So hot... another 30, and I need to figure out what to do about it (except sitting in the AC)
