books Whisper the Winged Unicorn

Has anyone else read this series? It was the first book I ever read, now that I think about it. Later I learned there's a whole series following this title, several of which I've never had the chance to read yet.
The title character even bears a slight resemblance to princess celestia!
Thoughts anyone?

I had one book that survived my childhood, unfortunately it finally fell apart. I loved that series when I was little.I've even been contemplating getting a winged unicorn and making a Whisper custom.

I remember my cousins had the series. I did enjoy the art on it!

The illustrations were really something. It dates back to 1983 or 1984, now that I think about it. In America there are still old copies available on amazon.com, but I haven't gotten around to ordering them yet.
