'Thanks,' she smiled hesistantly. 'I don't usually get around Ponyville that much, but it's nice to meet a good-natured pony for a change. I sure hope that mare is okay.'

Hollow felt this was a good time to introduce herself.

'My name's Sleepy Hollow. What's yours?'

"Uh," he stammered, "Skyjumper." A small smile took residence one his face. "Sleepy Hollow, that's a nice name." By now, the Market was starting to wake up as well, like one big pony getting out of bed. The town, collectively, was growing more active. "Well uhm, nice to meet you."

the sun was shining through the windows and on the face of a young, sleeping mare in a room in the local tavern. This didn't seem to bother her at all, it had been doing that for quite some time now and she was still sleeping. What woke her up was the increasingly loud noices comming from the marked on the town square where the tavern was located. The mare slowly woke up and rubbed in her eyes 'What's going on out there?' She said out loud and opened one eye. Then she remembered what she was doing here and what was going on. 'Crab, I overslept!' She said and quickly got out of bed.

This young mare is called Quinty. Quinty Waves to be exact. and, if that wasn't obvious, she isn't from ponyville. Quinty arived yesterday night verry late in the evening in ponyville. She had traveled the whole day to get here from her house that is located far away from everything on a cliff in the west of equestria. When she arrived here she inmediately went to the tavern to find a place to sleep and as soon as she got in bed she fell asleep.

Quinty walked outside and looked at all the ponies walking around there. It was a strange sight for her, it had been almost two years since she saw this many ponies together for the last time. It made her nervous but she took a deep breath and walked over to the place where she wanted to put down her stall. She made sure to look nopony in the eyes and to keep her head high, not looking impressed by anything she saw. She started to put up her stall where she would sell her pearls. this was the first time she would sell them herself and she was deteminded to get this over as quickly as possible. 'Just a few days and you'll be back home.' She muttered to herself.

Restless, Stardust began pacing around her home. She decided that just in case that stallion was speaking the truth she decided it might be a good time to tidy up the place. Her charts were all over, and she needed to do a bit of dishes. She unplugged her headphones and popped her iPon into her stereo and cranked it up! Pocket full of Sunshine began to blast through the speakers!

She sang along and was starting to slowly wiggle her little body around the observatory as she cleaned. By the middle of the sing she was full on dancing her heart out. Pretending she had a microphone she sung into her hoof. "TAKE ME AWAY! A SECRET PLACE, A SWEET ESCAPE! TAKE ME AWAY! TAKE ME AWAY TO BETTER DAYS!"

By the end of the song she noticed that not only did nothing get picked up, but there was a slightly larger mess due to her outrageous dancing and flying around. She couldn't help but laugh and start the process over again. This time with A Thousand Miles coming on next.

Yawning loudly, Tinker finally woke up in the late morning. He had been working on a new project late into the night, but barely any progress had been made so far. "New day... Better get some materials--" His stomach grumbled loudly, as if to remind him of his hunger. "...and some breakfast." He quickly got his morning routine done and grabs his wing-pack with his magic, strapping it onto him. He also put on his saddlebags before heading outside, taking off to the Ponyville skies.

He flew across town to the Sugarcube Corner, landing down at the entrance of the bakery. He looked around and walked in, sitting down at a table. "A couple muffins and a chocolate shake, please." He was rarely seen outside of his house, always working on his projects. He only went out whenever he needed marerials or test a contraption. The blue maned unicorn waited her his order, tapping his hoof while humming a random tune.

As Skyjumper approached the observatory, he could here vibrations of music loudly blaring. He slowly made his way to the door. The stallion banged on the door, perhaps a little too hard. His hoof hurt a little. "Hello?!"

"I'm doing okay, a bit sad that I left without getting an apple fritter from the apple cart. Seeing as my whole reason for going out was to get one for my dessert tonight. But anyway..." Raze looked up at the pegasus that had just left, confused as to why she did.

"What the heck's her deal?" he said under his breath, when he saw her get tangled in a white sheet hanging to dry. He then saw another pegasus going to help her. Shrugging, he turned back to the newcomer.

"Like I said, I can help you out. Town hall's not far from here."

After getting the information from the stallion in front of him, Dynamo started to walk towards town hall. "Thanks for your help, I really do appreciate it. My name's Dynamo Pad by the way. I hope we run into each other again sometime." He turned to wave at the stallion who had helped him with a smile on his face.

He could see some sort of bakery off in the distance and on his choice of destination, he noticed a light green mare setting up a shop stall. Curiosity getting the better of Dynamo, he decided to make a quick stop to see what the stall had to offer. "H-hey there. I saw your stall along the way and looking closely, these look pretty cool. What are these, if you don't mind me asking. By the way, my name's Dynamo Pad. It's r-really nice to meet you." Dynamo said trying not to sound nervous to the pony in front of him.

"Sure." He carefully stepped in, and recognized the song that was on. "If I could fall...into the sky, do you think time..." and proceeded to hum the remainder of the chorus. "Dunno why I never thought to sing this when I work." He thought out loud. "Nice place." The stallion grinned. "Anyway, it is good to see you're no worse for wear after the sheet and all." "Thanks, and please excuse the mess, was cleaning, or rather.. trying to clean when you knocked." She showed him up to the main living area. Just as they reached the top of the stairs All You Wanted started to play.

Stardust loved this song, it reminded her of her school days. And the crush on that one pony with the dark blue mane. She started to day dream and a goofy grin appeared on her muzzle. She noticed that Skyjumper was looking at her. She snapped out of it and smiled.

"Anyway, this is the place. Not a whole lot, but it's home. I have everything I need." She smiled proudly. "Bed, kitchen table, sink, food stuffs, and my telescope and work area. I love this place, I have been working on it since I purchased it a few years back. It still needs some tender love and care, and a fresh coat of paint all around, but I love it, every bit of it." She was beaming as she was talking about it. She noticed her little stuffed blue hippo was poking out of her blankets on her bed, she darted over and gently covered him up.

Nervously she added, "Want to see the best spot of the place?" She motioned for him to follow her. She started to make her way to a hatch in one of the corners of the room.

@@Dynamo Pad,

"No problem," Raze said, waving him off. He then noticed that all the other ponies had left, leaving him standing in the open for no particular reason. He shrugged, and kept walking.

He strolled around the marketplace, past Town Hall and around the Sugarcube Corner Bakery. He thought about his job as a sellsword, and the jobs he received from clients around Equestria. Suddenly, he found himself back where he started again. Raze had a bit of a dull expression on his face, before coming towards a shocking realization.

"...I'm bored," he said.

Fender, while already interested by the observatory, was lead to more curiosity at the mention of the 'best spot.'

He followed the mysterious mare toward the hatch. "By the way," something now occurred to him, "earlier in the market, you mentioned that you've seen me around? Or us? Or all of ponyville?" He chuckled. "Bit stalkerish," he meant no harm when he said that, and simply gave her an approving smile. "You know I understand what it's like to be a bit lonely as well?" His assumption was bold, but he thought it might just be appropriate.

She was a bit taken aback by his statement, but she tried to not let it show. It was after all very true, she did spend a lot of time alone and would always wonder if it was because it was her fault or not. They made their way up and out the other side of the hatch. Once on the roof she fluttered around and landed next to her little area that she made. It consisted of a small side table, perfect for her cup of tea and little snack, and her spa type chair that was accompanied by another in the hopes that maybe one day she could share the experience of watching the sun rise and town wake up with somepony else.

"This is it, this is the best spot of my home, of Ponyville actually. I can pull my telescope back inside and then come up here right before the sun peaks over the horizon right over there *she points to the east* you can see all of the oranges and yellows of the sun twinkling in the darkness. Gently waking the world, I can see the birds start to stretch their wings, the flowers waiting patiently to warm their peddles. The dew on the grass catches the sunlight just enough to have a faint rainbow over the entire field. The smell of autumn in the air." She closes her eyes as she explains all the beauty.

"Then the fun part starts, the calm tranquility of morning is interrupted by the small chaos of Ponyville. You can just make out the alarms that go off for those who need to open the shops. The sun continues to shine and as it reaches the half way point you notice that the sunflowers in the field just behind here start to open and that sweet smell floods my rooftop." She is in heaven explaining every aspect of her glorious mornings.

"The Mayor always runs late. I just smile and shake my head each time I see her try to make it look like she isn't trying to bolt to city hall. Her assistant is always there waiting for her with a cup of hot coffee and a brush to help her get ready for the day. Then you have Sugar Cube corner, there is always a flour dust cloud that poofs out of the chimney each morning. But shortly after the aroma of cinnamon and apple billow out." She takes a deep breath in as if she were smelling the smells all over again.

"Then Miss Cheeralee rings the school bell, and the little fillies and colts all rush to the school house. By then the helpers from the Apple Farm are bringing the delicious apple concoctions from the night before. And yes, I do see you every now and then, lazily making your way out and onto one particularly low flying cloud. Then the train comes into town, always on schedule." She lets out a soft sigh.

She turns to Skyjumper, "It's like a delicate dance, each pony playing their part. Making the town run smoothly. And I get to watch it unfold each morning. Some days it's comical, some days it's a bit slower than others, and some days, it's beyond chaotic. But each day, no matter how it starts, begins to run like a well oiled machine." She gazed back out across the town.

"Yep, best place in Ponyville."

Skyjumper got the hint at the playfulness, and he felt less bad about teasing her about the sheet. "I didn't realize I was so hungry." He shrugged. "So I have been meaning to ask, and I don't want to sound rude...your cutie mark...or, better yet, you. Tell me about yourself. Or better yet, I can say something first so you don't feel uncomfortable." The stallion wiped a bit of apple juice off of his hoof. "I was raised- or...well, I grew up in Canterlot, mostly. Upon Gryphon’s wing we

from the sky cast our countenance,

landing to part as the Red Sea

the conflux of proletariat

ponies at the marketplace.

Stepping down from our winged chariot

as gracefully as a sun quiescently set

beneath the mountains,

so do we dismount our flying corvette.

Surveying the land before us

we find ourselves nestled in

land ignorant of the superfluous

lifestyle of our home.

‘Tis a wonderful sight!

A simplicity only dreams know!
