Twilight Sparkle sat down at her computer and logged onto ponytalk.net, her favorite social forum. After entering her username and password, she quickly navigated to the forum game section, intent on starting a new role-play, one of her favorite passtimes.

 

"hey spike!" she called. "can you get that book on humans I ordered from the Canterlot library?"

 

Spike sighed. "You couldve asked a few minutes sooner, I just shelved it."

 

Twilight looked at him with a playful smile. "well then, you should have not trouble finding it again. I need it for this new game I'm doing."

 

Spike grumbled as he got the book. "all this work just so twilight can play her games..." he said under his breath. He handed the book to twilight, who used her magic to flip to page 127. She thanked spike and began to type as she read.

Name: Nikolas flamel

Gender: male

 

Description: a talented alchemist and magician. Nikolas is a kind hearted magician who uses his powers to help people, when he isn't studying new types of magic or trying to create new alchemical substances.

 

Everypony make a human character! I have a book on humans if you want any information. I have books on human behavior, anatomy, history, culture, anything anypony could want to know and more!"

 

Twilight wondered about how she should start her RP. I could come up with a storyline right now... But what if other ponies didn't like it? I should wait for other ponies to join before deciding how to start. she thought for a second and flipped through her human literature book. I'll just start with a basic story. That way other ponies can take it in any direction they want.

 

She began typing again.

 

"nikolas woke and ate breakfast, excited to get back to his work. He finished quickly and went outside, to where had a large, ornate garden. He walked to the largest tree and jumped down into the hole he had dig at it's base. These sure are nice roots. I'll be able to get a lot of extract out of these, but they aren't exposed enough. he picked up his shovel once

again. I must go deeper. he began to dig around the roots, making more room around them so he could cut them more easily."

 

Satisfied, twilight logged off the site and went back to her studying. I'll check back in a few hours. Surely somepony will like this game.

Linguz scrolled through ponytalk.net while talking to his best friend, checking out all parts of the forum save the forum game section. He looked at the newest posts in each section and noticed Twilight Sparkle had created another roleplay. He leaned back on his chair and said, "Really? She made another one?" He sighed, clicked on it, and continued, "Might as well check it out."

 

He looked at the start of her post and posted.

(Sparkle, do these humans use weapons of any type? And what about a story, is there any here?)

 

He left the forum games section of the roleplay and continued to check out the rest of the forum.

(it's not that hard, finest. You are a human who goes to mlpforums.com to role-play a pony who goes to ponytalk.net to role-play a human.

Okay, maybe it is hard.)

 

 

Twilight saw that her friend linguz had posted. She read his question and quickly typed her response, making sure to stay OOC.

 

(well, they have a lot of weapons. Do you want to know about ancient ones, modern ones, maybe some from the medieval era? You know what the medieval human era was, right?)

 

 

Once nikolas had cleared the dirt away, he took some small glass bottles out of his pocket and began to cut some small chunks and let the juices drip into the bottles.

 

"that should be enough for now." he said, and capped the bottles.

 

He went to his study and began mixing the root extract with different powders and liquids, until he had a bubbling mixture that let off faint wisps of green smoke.

 

"ah, perfect!" he exclaimed.

 

He poured the liquid in a large glass jar and stored it in his cupboard.

 

 

(in case anypony hasn't noticed, I'm trying to post in a way that doesn't specify a specific era of humans. That way we can decide when it happens.)

 

Twilight wondered if she had given enough information. im sure he'll be able to figure it out. And if he doesn't, I have all the knowledge he needs.. She left the RP thread to go post in a few others about various subjects.

Linguz noticed that Sparkle had replied to post and read it a few times to make sure he had it correct.

 

(Ancient is the oldest while modern is the most recent. Medieval would have to be the middle time, right? Can you tell me about those weapons, when you spoke to me about them they were the most interesting. Tell me if I'm doing this right.)

Gender: Male

Description: Fights a lot. Will always get into fights when possible.

 

Malfure woke up late in the evening like he always did and looked outside. The sun, like always, was glaring through the window and hitting him directly in the face. He got out of his home and looked around, seeing that some people were already leaving work to go home.

 

He sighed and spoke, "Guess I should get to work before it finishes..."

 

He left the town and headed to the forest with an axe, determined to get his quota of lumber before the days end even though he was starting with less than half the day's work time left.

Breeze opened her computer and went to her usual website and noticed anew forum made a by somepony she clicked the topic and looked through it *Human RP? sounds fun* she began typing her character sheet

Description: Smart, loyal, courageous, and fun to be around

 

Breeze continued typing her current position and actions of her character in the RP

 

Aylin woke up with a yawn, she walked to her window to notice almost every-one awake, *I guess I should go look for something to eat* she said with her stomach rumbling, she walked outside of her home to the light of the day.

Twilight rifled through her human history book to find an answer to her friends question. Hmm... Swords, axes, spears, nothing very technologically advanced. That makes sense, it is the medieval period, after all. she began typing.

 

(they didn't have a lot of technology back then, so it was mostly swords, spears, bows, axes, that kind of thing.

 

I have to go do some studying right now, actually, so I'll see you guys later.)

 

Twilight signed off and began studying.

Linguz woke from his nap and checked the roleplay. After reading about the weapons on the Internet, he commenced to type.

 

(Thanks. I've got what I needed. Minecraft is what I believe that these humans would call Ponycraft, by the way.)

 

Malfure cut the trees down, minecraft style, cutting them from the ground up. After a few minutes, he had reached the quota.

 

One of his fellow workers, Treestomper, walked up to Malfure, laughing, and said, "Always late but always meeting the quota. How do you do it?"

 

Malfure grinned and replied, "You always ask that, and I always reply the same. I love my job and work as hard as I can." Treestomper grunted and went back to work; he still missed a small part of his quota even though he worked all day long.

 

Malfure put down his axe and put it back in the supply closet. He left the job area and headed back to his house. Once there, he picked up his own axe and began to practice his techniques at swinging it.

 

(I think we should be in the medieval times. That was when technology wasn't available that would do everything for them but instead made it easier, if Ponypedia be trusted to give me the truth.)

 

He looked over his post before clicking post and found a few errors. After correcting them, he posted and went to get something to eat.
