Well Bethesda for me was another underwhelming conference the biggest thing of note imo was the announcement of skyrim on xbox one and ps4 with mod support.

Is Destiny really good? I've always wanted to try it but I never did and eventually, all the hype for it died down for me.

 

If you did not fall it to the hype went it coming out, ready to invest time and have friends to play with. Its a Good Gome.

Plus the DLC bring more to do and is needed up to date

Anyway I'm going to bed see you guys tomorrow for 11 hours in a chair.

For me Bestheda only good announcements was Fallout 4 DLC and Prey. All the rest were laaaame. I cant believe Elder Scrolls Online is still around, its been "dead" to the gaming community now for years. I dont know who these 7 milion player are, but I want to slap them because they are keeping both a dying gaming and dying  genre alive. The MMO genre at this point is a zombie on life support telling everyone to please kill it. Those are just my thoughts.

I will not be watching E3, but I will keep my eyes on the news though; hopefully there will be a good announcement

Every year since E3 closed to the public and only invited people could get in, I have been getting less and less enthused about E3 each year and this year I don't care, especially since I don't own a console anymore and moved onto the master race PC lol. PC doesn't have its own thing in E3 and the only two games I care about is Deus Ex and No mans sky right now. 

 

There is a PC gaming show at E3 now.

 

Honestly... That conference was very "meh" for me. The thing I was most excited about was Quake, and they didn't even show the game yet.

I have just been getting less and less enthused about games the last couple of years. Mostly because of funds and the time they consume.

I saw all the DLC and next expansions. Kind of reminds me of WoW in that way and that's what kind of made me not want to get it due to all of the expansion packs (that's what I'm calling them) they have out now.

The only games that got me interested thus far are Prey and Dishonored 2. The rest were ok for what they were but nothing really stood out to me, Im hoping tomorrow will be better.

The good news is:

 

Dishonored 2 while it looked choppy and stuttery in the stream was thankfully the result of the stream. The actual footage came out on Youtube and the game is in fact 60FPS which is a good thing because that means if the framerate drops it'll still be well above 30 so it'll remain playable... Now the only thing to hope is that they are not just showing the PC version and the console versions will actually be 30.

 

The bad news:

 

It looks like Skyrim Special edition... Isn't... You're going to touch up a 5 year old game and not even try to get it to 60FPS so that console gamers can enjoy it like the PC version has been for over 5 years? This is pointing in the direction of "unoptimized" to me. Calling it now, load times will still be abysmal, crashes still common and bugs will remain a rampant problem. Hoping to see more footage of the game to prove me wrong, but... Bethesda doesn't ever really prove me wrong when it comes to Elder Scrolls or Fallout... They only care about the PC versions and that's how they always probably will be which makes me think: why bother releasing them on consoles at all then?

I am laughing my ass off at Xbox's conference... Literally no game they showed is going to be exclusive to Xbox, all of them are coming to PC meaning there is no reason to buy an Xbox One. They literally showed nothing that makes buying the One necessary for anyone who hasn't already gotten it. Like why not create reasons to own the hardware?

 

I mean overall the conference wasn't "bad" but it was a lot of "okay, cool, whatever."

I have to agree, Sony really just murdered it. They didn't spend every 3 minutes telling us about how innovative or big their games are, they just showed the games and let them speak for themselves. Honestly, I feel that this is another solid easy to see victory for Sony again this year.

Sony had a fantastic conference.

 

- Lots of old and new IPs

- Horizon still looks fantastic

- Days Gone looks real promising

- Crash 1-3 getting remastered from the ground up

- I'm liking the new direction they're taking with Kratos

- RE7 actually looks scary

- Last Guardian finally getting a release date

- Kojima trailer being a Kojima trailer(and a return of Norman Reedus no less)

 

Easily the best one so far(though that's not really saying much considering the competition, I liked MS's conference, but the other 3 were awful)
