To be honest, I actually used to honestly dislike MLP and it's fandom and then I actually watched the show and became hooked myself.

Lol, he wasn't successful. That was kind of funny actually, how you pretty much stopped him right in his tracks. What a dumbass. I've encountered quite a few in my lifetime (my entire graduating class), and I've never had any success. Do you have any tips/tricks that could could help me? It seems like you're pretty good at it.

 

I found it rather funny too, I don't really have some 'tips and tricks' so to speak, but if you get some hate, just act cool, speak in a civil manner, and if they are just trying to troll you, contradict them with the 'correct' answer and back your claims. Then it's just plain sailing.

 

 

You're not a proper brony until you've had some hate spread your way.

 

You can think of it wither four ways:

 

1) A challenge to prove him wrong.

2) A way to politely show him that bronies are civil people.

3) A way of VENTING ALL YOUR ANGER ON THEM!

4) A thing to ignore.

 

I sort of go on the first road, not very good with the second. DO NOT DO THE THIRD ONE. You just don't prove them that we are about L&T.

 

I am now friends with a non-brony who I argued with. He doesn't watch the show but at least he doesn't slate people anymore.

 

If you choose fourth option, this can be tricky. You must be vigilant not to reply, and not give in to the argument:

 

"You're ignoring me because you can't argue with me!"

 

Whatever you do, remember you are proud to be a brony and you will L&T the hay out of them!

 

 

I decided the first option, until I found no use in answering as he was either mentally impaired or unable to see through another person's eyes what he was actually saying. Ah well, I am bound to find more in the future.

I just played some matches of Draw My Thing, and I encountered the worst hater ever. His method of trolling was by far the worst I have ever seen. He just kept calling me queer over and over, along with some of the most common textbook methods out there. I was laughing nearly the entire time. The last thing he said was, and I quote "how is it in third placequeer." I responded, "acutally, it's rather nice." After that, he gave up and left, and I burst out laughing. Anyone else have encounters like this that were hilariously bad?

I always tend to troll them right back. Instead of getting butthurt over hate, I usually just agree with the hater. If they call me gay, I agree and act rediculously flamboyant, stuff like that.

The worst I've seen was some 12 year old kid that called me brony [racism 1] at least 300 times and was his only insult, spamming that word endlessly. So pathetic, especially since he kept finding ways to come back after he was banned.

Worst haters? Look no further than YouTube. Man, it's hilarious how some of them come back to videos for months just to bash bronies. Then again, it's YouTube--the #1 Internet Tough Guy™ breeding ground.

 

But, yeah. I see them everywhere on the Internet, and it's kind of sad. Hating people for liking something they don't? Makes me feel sorry for them. At times, it's hard to tell whether they're genuinely hateful or if they're just trolls (really bad trolls). Or maybe they're just trying to cover up for something--something like ponies.

 

My suggestion is to either sit back and watch the hater make a fool of himself, or troll him with ponies. Either way, it's entertaining. Getting mad at him won't help, since that's what he wants. Love and tolerate the shit out of him, instead!

The anti brony comes and posts his obvious CopyPasta, and calls him a ponyfag, sometime later the uploader deleted the comment to avoid more comments of people responding to him xD

Best thing to do is to just ignore them. Trolls are people who are bored, and are trying to make you mad because they find it entertaining. Acknowledging responding, or making threads about them entertains them, and that means they have won.

Just had to do this. Most of the time when I see a hater, it's not directed towards me, and I still laugh at how bad they are at hating. It's really hard for a hater to get me mad, in fact, I've never gotten mad at a hater in any topic.

I laugh at them, it's fun to see them rage, their delicious tears of anger and whatnot are like diamonds to me. The harder they rage the better.
