cider float 2,539 November 8, 2016 Share November 8, 2016 (edited) Just a thought. It looks like Big Mac got "unicorn horn envy." So what if he found Sombra's horn which seduces him to pick it up and it bound itself onto his head, Big Mac wouldn't take it off despite how much Applejack tries to tell him to throw it into Tartarus, Applejack keeps this a secret from the mane five afraid they would hurt him and due to her stubbornness that this was an Apple problem and she would rather fix it before anyone knew what happened, Big Mac is enjoying using magic and eventually Sombra takes over his mind and body and seeks to obtain some kind of power, artifact or whatever to regain his original body? It becomes too late for Applejack to tell the mane five what happens she becomes heavily wounded trying to stop him and the mane five have to fight Sombra. Ganondorf8 11,730 November 8, 2016 Share November 8, 2016 Big Mac's dream of using magic would become everyone else's nightmare and he would no longer be himself. He would just be a vessel for Sombra to siphon off of until he had enough strength to restore his own body.
They call me Loyalty 1,954 November 8, 2016 Share November 8, 2016 Sombra has even less personality than Big Mac, so I don't see the risk, really.Besides, wasn't sombra utterly anhilated? Didn't they throw his horn into mountain perdition, or something? So this "unspeakable" evil can never return. Now, your idea sounds interesting, but sombra is not my favourite villain. GrimGrimoire 4,973 November 8, 2016 Share November 8, 2016 Are you kidding???? That would never happen! Sir McBiggun can handle Sombra any day of the week. Didn't you see how he handled the Squizard? At this point I think it is only to fair to say during the next Equestrian crisis, don't call any of the Mane 6... call Sir McBiggun. He would NOT have been captured by any changelings. In fact the only reason Applejack was captured was he was busy making sure Tirek kept his ass in Tartarus. 1 ~No profound statement needed~

KiraTakahashi 748 November 8, 2016 Share November 8, 2016 Honestly that could be the worst thing he could ever do. He needs to be updated on lord of the rings, in thus case lord of the horn. +My life's it's own cartoon show.+

Fhaolan 4,494 November 9, 2016 Share November 9, 2016 Since MLP is a Hasbro property, let's look at another Hasbro property that has a very similar thing: Dungeons & Dragons and the various parts of Vecna. Way back in 1st edition of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons there were two artifacts called the Hand of Vecna and the Eye of Vecna. In that edition Vecna had been a ancient undead wizard, a Lich, who was supposedly gone away at some point leaving behind bits of himself. If you attached those bits to you (such as chopping off your own hand, and pressing the hand of Vecna onto the stump) they would join to you and you would get 'awsome magic power' and whatnot. Except, like all artifacts, there was a drawback and slowly the spirit of Vecna would take you over. Usually forcing you to go and find all the other bits of Vecna lying around and graft them on as well. Over the publishing history of D&D, more and more parts were added to the artifact list, and eventually you could assemble a full Vecna of your very own. So yeah, if Sombra's horn was found and stuck on a pony, I have no doubts Sombra would use that to take over the pony and 'regenerate' himself. And I can see Applejack not dealing well if that pony was Big Mac, as Applejack still has problems asking for help, though she has gotten better about it. What I can't see is Big Mac putting a broken horn up to his forehead for any reason, unless he didn't know it was a unicorn horn at all. It just strikes me that he wouldn't be fine with fiddling with remains of any pony. However, thinking it was a reproduction or just happened to resemble a unicorn horn and incorporating it into a cosplay costume for Ogres and Oubliettes, that I could see. FluttersisBestPony 63 November 9, 2016 Share November 9, 2016 If this were to happen, would it be anything like Quirrel from the first Harry Potter book?
