What would you do if the ponies only made horse noises?

You end up in Equestria, The ponies are just as intelligent and nice from the show, the only problem that the ponies form of communication is horse sounds like neighs and other horse noises.

 

At the same time, the ponies on their end only hear chimpanzee noises from you?

 

What would you do in this situation?

Be utterly confused and frustrated I imagine, the same as all of them. Then get Fluttershy to be my translator.
 

She understands animals and they can understand her.

   Well, if they be intelligent enough to have their own buildings & culture, stands to reason they'd catch on well enough to notice the problem and work it out.

 There's alot that can be done though nonverbal cues, I say.

 

          Also, don't see how that would stop me in the least from cuddle-attacking the stuffin' outta them!

Seeing as i'm from Starship Chimp, I would use my universal translator to translate what they are on about.

 

then I would turn myself into my Oc and starts going on a zombie transformation war

 

then probably get banished to the moon

You never said whetever or not writing on paper is universally understood. So once I know they have paper and writing tools, I'd write all my questions and responses.

Math, I'd do math. 

 

Once I managed to prove to them that I am indeed intelligent, it would be up to Fluttershy and Twilight to come up with a solution on their side while I tried to learn their language on my side.

 

Also I'd try to go for a written language IF the sounds were too hard to make // understand.  Maybe writing would be easier.

Begin to wonder why I only make chimpanzee noises since humans never evolved from them. If it just relates to how speech is interpreted, I'd wonder how they wouldn't recognize it's a language I'm speaking and not random, meaningless noises. Then I would wonder how they could communicate with dragons who shouldn't make horse noises as well, but dragon noises. I'd further wonder how they could create an entire language on a very limited amount of equine noises, and now efficient that even was.

Ask Twilight for help using a coded message. Teach her the english/morse codes word for apple, teach her written english, help her fix the language barrier.

I'm sure the unicorns have some kind of translation spell so any noise that comes out of my mouth is heard as coherent speech.
