What was your favorite two parter and why?

Personally my favorite one was the season two premiere. Discord is one of my favorite characters and I loved him in that episode. He just didn't care. Even as he was being defeated he couldn't stop laughing about how he was being defeated by a rainbow laser.

Couldn't agree more. "The Return of Harmony" will always be the best two part episode in my book. I enjoyed the others, but it was truly the most enjoyable out of the crop.

Yeah I just loved Discord.

The Cutie Map. Starlight was an awesome villain, I even liked her better than Discord which I didn't think was possible (and it's interesting because they were basically opposites in their ideals). She was very mysterious, intimidating and creepy, more than any other villain and even before revealing her magical abilities. I thought the episode was very well-written, and the concept of the episode was also very interesting, something I never would have expected from this kind of show.

I liked the season four finale because they brought back a generation one villain through Lord Tirek. They also brought back Scorpan but he was restricted to appearing in a flashback and nothing more. It'd be nice if he were to make an actual appearance in the show to give audiences an idea as to what he's been up in the past one thousand years.

Yeah defiantly one of my favorites. The scene where they where hearing the propaganda over the speakers where some of my favorite. It gave the episode a really eerie feel.

Yeah season four finale was definitely one of the most epic.

The battle between Twilight and Lord Tirek was perhaps the most epic battles the show has ever done--Twilight's magic duel with Starlight is on equal footing--especially when it went full on Dragonball Z.

Season 4 finale, and not (just) for the menacing villain and intense fight scene. Twilight's internal conflict is rather powerful, and the way the episode emphasizes her friends' importance is truly great. Twilight needs her friends to defeat Tirek, and this contrasts Tirek's back-stabbing, but she also needs her friends in order to find meaning in her new role as a princess. Without her friends, being the "princess of friendships" doesn't amount to much, and I have a massive soft spot for the mane six getting equal thrones in Twilight's castle. One of the few finales which I think might have been okay to end the show on, even if it closes what I think is a weaker season and leaves a lot of unfulfilled potential.

I would have to go with saying that Twilight's Kingdom is my all-time favorite two part episode. The way the show addressed Twilight's role as a princess was handled in an emotionally satisfying way, as well as Discord's true Reformation. Tirek was intimidating and lead for a pretty good challenge for our characters to overcome. Plus that fight scene was all kinds of awesome. The songs were also really good and didn't feel out of place. The episode stayed exciting or engaging all the way through, and had me hyped for the next season.

Twilight's Kingdom was such a great end to a season. It answered many questions we had, Twilight gets her own castle, the most intense villain of the show wreaks havoc, that friggin fight and the reminder of the importance of friendship sprinkled on top. We also finally got truly reformed Discord which I was waiting so long for and that has paid off wonderfully. The ending of that finale was one of the happiest moments for me in the show, which is strange how the season 5 premiere kinda went in an opposite tone.

Twilight's Kingdom was probably one of the most overhyped ones I've seen, it was basically just adding more toppings on a chocolate cake to make it taste better but it's still a chocolate cake, they still had to rely on the entire Mane 6 to defeat the villain and it only needed a rainbow blast to stop him, it was practically no different to the previous finales.

I liked the Season 6 Finale, it was finally different for a change although it could be improved to make it better for Season 7.

It felt like the season 3 finale of Avatar The Last Airbender. Because the fire in that was huge! Just like the magic was huge in the mlp season four finale.

Defintley t epic fight scene in the show.

Wow like five other people said One was there favorite. But understand . One of the t satisfying fights in the show.

Discord's premier was excellent, but Tirek's episodes were just...so huge. So great. I loved them!

My least favourite, now, that's another story...

Yeah that finale as great. Also what's least favorite one?

I Actually want more of Starlight now. At this point I think it's fair to say she's part of the core group (mane 6+Spike). So seeing with them more would be great. She was one of my favorite things about the season.

I would say the Season 4 Finale is my favorite 2 Parter, It's really Epic!

I also like the Season 6 Finale but I like the Season 4 finale More.

I'd probably say I liked season four finale if it wasn't for Starlight, Trixie, and Discord. There interactions where great. And even Thorax was really cool.

Yeah that one was actually really good.

My fav would be "A Canterlot wedding"

The songs are awesome and the story was cool too, even with some plot holes and stuff, this day aria kills me everytime.

Defintley one of the good ones.

Return of Harmony:

1) Discord, he's a great villain, plays on the cast and crew excellently and has power to boot but doesn't rely on them to beat the heroes, instead going for mind games. He's calculating and manipulative but also fun and zany. A great combination.

2) THE MANE 6 ARE ALL INVOLVED. This is the biggest thing for me, that the Mane 6 are all actually involved fighting this threat. Yes Twilight is the focus but for one thing Discord actually interacts with the Mane 6, the only villain besides SUNSET SHIMMER to actually do so, and I mean really interact and not just share screen space with them. And then they each have a role to play and get a chance to shine and it takes ALL of them to save the day, not just Twilight's going around doing everything then getting some random power up with the Mane 6 being batteries for it or even worse getting worfed offscreen so some other character can get to shine.

So yeah Return of Harmony is my favorite two parter.

Twilight's Kingdom.

The season led up to it and I like how it was resolved for the most part. I loved the fight between Twi and Tirek... in my opinion the show stepped it up a notch here with the action sequence and crossed a couple of lines you don't normally see from a show like this. Return of Harmony was another really really good one.

It would be "A Canterlot Wedding" without a doubt, since that was the first episode or 2 episodes I saw in the whole series. I still consider it to be my favourite episode(s). I'm always a fan of having a main villain and this had that. Also, the fight scene with the Changelings was also interesting, since the main 6 ended up ultimately losing and getting captured, which is something that I would never expect in a show like this. It also included the only song in the entire series that is "This Day". The season 4 finale would be right behind it, since it also had a villain and a fight scene, with all of Equestria being threatened.

Actually, all the 2 part episodes are pretty good.  I'll go with the season 5 finale, the Cutie Remark because of the alternate timelines.  Return of Harmony is a close 2nd because it has some of the best scenes in the series, too many to list  them all
