Stuff like this just makes me wonder what if the original creator of my little ponies had decided to use some different animal instead of ponies. What would FIM be like, would it exist? Like, what if the creator made it My Little Cats, or My Little Butterflies. Anyway, I approve of Dragon Pie and Dragonshy

Im positive MLP: FiM would not exist if the characters where not ponies.

Remeber where the show originated from.

The Hasbro toy company paided these people to advertize their toys in a TV show, which is ~G4, but MLP started in the 80's ;3

but it does really make you think sometimes~

Ya it's possible that if it was some other animal, like dragons, MLP wouldn't have been considered lame enough to warrant a Lauren Faust revamp, that and there'd be no reason for winged or horned versions of the animals. Like, if it was My Little Cats......you know, you can't really do much unless they're wild cats (lions, tigers, black panther). Tho, that would be interesting.

theres not anything diffrent about let say cats.

but with ponies, theres so much mythology and older resources to work with. its kind of a burst of creativity waiting to be toyed with
