Should DHX release a Princess Collection of DVDs?

Like the books that focus on the princesses "Luna and the festival of the Winter Moon", "Cadance and the spring hearts Garden" , should there be Direct to DVD "specials" that focus on each pony princess?

I was thinking with new plots. Like Luna's would be more cosmic adventures or dream problems, Cadance would be different from her book, etc

Well it would be a nice way to give Celestia, Luna, and Cadence some more character development.

Plus maybe we could finally get an animated version of Cadence's ascension to alicorn.

I don't really see a need for it. They should just release seasons 8 and 9!!!
