I'm in~ And now I can do even more things (like drawing, bass and drums!), as well as gotten better on the guitar~ Only need to figure out a good way to record my drums (digital)...

So I took this personality-test... And apparently, I'm most like Fluttershy~

I'm still willing to sing, and I can now use what little I know of FL Studio to help as well. Not to mention, I draw okay enough, if you like a simple cartoon style. That being said, I don't know what sort of song we're doing specifically still. We really haven't fleshed out any ideas the whole several months the thread has been up.

 

...Or wait, Spiral/Uprise said he had lyrics. I don't remember 'em though, if I ever saw them.

Yeh, I still have some lyrics we had previously discussed. Here are a couple of stanza drafts:

 

MLPforums, ever heard of this place?

It's a place great for kids, a wonderous place for us bronies

It's like reading a fanfic, but better

Listen to all the members on there,

they all think it's a amazing place too!

Think of it as paper and glue,

once attached to it, never get detached from it,

Only way you to detach from it is if you ripped your self from it

Listen to the other forums and compare it to this forum,

MLPforums has got the best staff you could think of

Think you got a better forum, then challenge accepted

Only time you will win is when you give up, you just simply can't

A couple stanzas I had come up with:

We're here to lend a hoof / When our friends are feeling blue / To make them smile and laugh; / It's what we're here to do.

For a month Feld0 grew restless / Gathering art, money and toys, / To help a hospital on Christmas / To cheer up all the girls and boys.

 

Remember guys, we also goofed around a little.

Feldian watchers make the place great for LOLs, Keeping it safe from spambots and trolls.

Yea, as he said, Skull is pretty busy doing some sort of overhaul. He needed someone else to take charge of lyrics, and for some reason, he picked me. O.O

Anyway.

I've just learned that next week was a holiday, at least in Americaland, so I decided to put it to good use. I'll PM Feld0 about that text-only advert I suggested.

Since I'm the boss and not just a participant now, might as well profit :3

Since we're restarting an whatnot, do you guys already know that I want to be active in this?

If not, I have lots of experiences in FL Studio and could help out in soundtrack.

Just wanted to say, since tomorrow's All Saints Day in France, I'm available this evening in about an hour (knowing it's 7.25pm here) and tomorrow afternoon.

I hope we make some progress with the lyrics. Don't forget guys, this is a team work. We're making verses with a meter of 6-8, and we already have a chorus.

(Sorry if I'm really out of the loop. I didn't wanna read all 19 pages... :P)

Our discussion is in the Skype group chat, but I also have the verses we have so far on my hard drive. We've only just started organizing them, though I'm pretty pleased with the result at the moment.

 

Still, it'd be nice to have more events and important members and such to talk about in the song. Since I'm barely active, I can't really stay up-to-date with that sort of thing.

 

Feld0 still hasn't gotten back to me about the text-only banner (see previous page's top).

Also I'm available this afternoon, in about 3 hours. You guys better be there, because as much as I enjoy making 85% of the lyrics and 100% of their organization (no sarcasm), it kinda kills the point of making it a group project.

I sing in two choirs and a band, If you need another vocalist, I can get that done. I also know a lot of musicians (pianists, Keyboardists, Guitarists, and a lot more) then I can give them a shout to help, too.

It's happening right now, though the chat group may seem pretty inactive at first glance. To enter the group, sending me or Skull a message on Skype would be enough.

Other than that, it doesn't really have a given schedule, knowing people are in different timezones. But Skull is usually on (like every single time I log in) and I try to come on in evenings (that's late morning or early afternoon in the US).

From what I can see, I'm we're still making the lyrics, but I'd be happy to have some additional singers.

As for musicians, I think we already had a few, but I'm not sure what happened to them.

 

Skull is still trying to sort things out right now, but we can carry on with thinking up more lyrics.

I wish I could contribute (being a singer/songwriter who just finished their album) but I sadly don't have Skype and I need a new mic. Also, LITTLE bit late *laughs*

I'm afraid Internet is really REALLY slow at the moment. And the next four weeks (not counting this one) may be pretty full, not sure because we've yet to know the schedule for that "block".

 

BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU GUYS CAN'T MAKE YOUR BRAINS WORK AND COME UP WITH SOME VERSES OR AT LEAST LYRICS.
