Applejack with Apples

This is a digital picture I drew in the program GIMP of Applejack posing and grinning right by a wagon of apples in the field. This was mostly done back in the 4th of September, 2016, though I never got the chance to complete and post it until just today.  I hope you enjoy it and feel free to give your thoughts on it if you'd like.

Hey Dash, Youve done really well in this drawing! The apples are a really nice additive.
 however, ive noticed that your shading is very minimal with the bright background, 
Its still very lovely, but i think if you enhanced the shadows more under the neck,hair and
ear where the light isnt hitting it can make AJ look more 3d. 

This is kind of what i mean, I tried to keep the shading consistent with your style

...it would be even better if the hair was waving in the wind ^.^ ...but that may be too dramatic for an image that's about cuteness. It's good the way it is
