The Wild Thornberry's for myself, I loved the show as a kid and it holds a special place in my heart. Also Eliza and Darwin will always remain some of my favourite cartoon characters of all time.

If we're talking today right now, it would be Loud House. Considering the current societies sensibilities i'm surprised what the show gets away with. Still I can relate albiet exaggerated form being a middle male child with an older and younger sister with no brothers.

For yesteryear...man Ren and Stimpy at the top of the list. Some of those episodes really do still crack me up and arnt nearly as "gross" or lewd as what they're famous for. Its mostly just about how abstract and cartoonish you can well...make a cartoon. Its mostly the over the top anger and outbursts that really sell the show for me.

I remember I used to like Rugrats and Doug until...well I watched it agian and realized "man...this did NOT age well". They're woahfully uninteresting to me now tho they were at the time.

Rocko's modern life was again a favorite of mine since it was more of a suburban toned down version of Ren and Stimpy. Most of the innuendo's I did at least sort of get at the time but looking back its fun seeing all the stuff you now completely get as an adult.

Ahhh Real Monsters was really a mixed bag for me. I dont remember paying TOO much attention to it while watching but more of a ya know...thing to watch. Not bad but not really interesting.

Angry Beavers was probably the last Nicktoon I recall consistently watching. Very similar to Ren and Stimpy if...well Stimpy was smart, charismatic and talented. Some episodes were okay...others not so much. Still more than not they were pretty interesting.

All the others Catdog, Thornberry's, Ginger, Hey Arnold and Rocket Power were either uninteresting or just unwatchable. For me As told by Ginger and Thornberrys character design art style looks like shit and couldnt watch it without my eyes getting sore.

Growing up in the early 2000's, my favorite show was Danny Phantom. :proud: I also enjoyed how Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide gives ligit advice for school students while being a comedy.

I'm a little ashamed to say that I didn't see Avatar: The Last Airbender until 2015 on DVD. It's awesome and I can't believe I missed out on its first run back in the mid-2000's.

I know you missed Nickelodeon in 2000"s. That's where the shows use to be the bomb.

I didn't watch Avatar: The Last Airbender till around 2011 or so. Well, I had seen a few episodes here and there ever since the series had first begun, but not enough to really immerse myself in the world of the series. I decided to splurge and spend some allowance money on the DVDs, and that's a decision I will never regret. Fell in love quickly!

What about Spongebob, FOP, Jimmy Neutron, or Danny Phantom?

The first few seasons of Spongebob were okay but really the show was more annoying to me than funny. Its one of those shows that I would have liked it WAY more if the main character wasnt in it. Weird to say out loud but after 3 seasons Spongebob ruined Spongebob for me.

Fairly Oddparents was much of the same where I would very occasionally watch the early seasons but was never paying attention. More like something I would have in the background. Many people dont even remember or know about its pilot WAY back in 98' on Oh Yeah Cartoons(Season 0) and its crazy how much I remember THIS animation before the series actually came out

Also besides the animation because of the early non-existant budget you may notice many of the voices are very different and wooden sounding.

Spoiler

And well...I never watched Jimmy Neutron or Danny Phantom. But the reason for those are almost the same reason of why I stopped watching Spongebob, Fairly Odd Parents and many others. I started high school in 2000 so I was already started growing well out of most cartoons. FOD started in 2001. Jimmy started in 2003 and Danny Phantom. Hell that was 2004. I was already starting college by the time that came out. So the truth is that most shows I didnt name started after my time and interest either waned or just never existed.

When I'm at home and turn on Nickelodeon I enjoy seeing Spongebob or Fairly Odd Parents the most. I don't even care if it's new or old personally. Over Winter Break I remember watching some of Loud House and thought it was actually pretty good, too.

I grew up with Nickelodeon. We didn't get Cartoon Network in until I was 10 or 11. I think I just got kind of sick of the rest of the 90s Nicktoons, which is probably why I clung to the ones that were new at the time.

The shows I loved growing up were Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko, Angry Beavers, Spongebob, and sometimes CatDog. I remember watching shows like Doug, Wild Thornberries, and Rocket Power, but I wasn't as big a fan of them.

A few shows I didn't actually watch until I was in my 20s. Avatar (+Korra) and Invader Zim were great. I've also gone through MLAATR and Danny Phantom, which were pretty good.

oh god look at all the kids posting here a load of recent shows i didnt watch ;_; im so old.

dude Nick toons had that grotesque art style to many of their cartoons, which put me off a fair number of them no matter how "classic" they are now. My faves were Rocko's Modern Life and The Wild Thornberries (still one of my all time faves.

I can't remember but was Angry Beavers and Hey Arnold! on Nick as well?

Check it! So half of these shows are still watchable to younger audiences. I am not 80 but I have seen some Rugrats. Nick just sucks now, everyone does.

I remember Nickelodeon running Danger Mouse, Count Duckula, and other foreign animation like ...

This thing

Ah Spartakus. So ... I got Nickelodeon and watched it when You Can't Do That on Television and Double Dare were the higher rated shows. Finders Keepers and Nick at Nite were also huge at the time. You know, when Nick at Nite still had black and white shoes. :P

Then they started slowly broadcasting more original programming and for a while they nailed it.

There were so many high quality or entertaining shows on Nick over the years. My favorite animated show came from them

Avatar: The Last Airbender was my favorite, and I could talk forever as to why that is. Doug Walker said it better and with more zeal than I could ever do myself. Other phenomenal shows were Rugrats, Invader Zim (GIR!), MLaaTR, Rocko, the first few seasons of SpongeBob, Hey Arnold!, and As Told by Ginger. Chalk Zone too.

I'm also partial to Clarissa Explains it All, and Ned's Declassified.

Wow, they had some quality shows. What the hell happened?

I don't like being called "this thing." But thank you for the mlaatr mention.

That be Hey Arnold, love that cartoon. I watch it in CITV in UK (Some in UK may know) not in Nickeloden. Then watch all episodes (few may be missing) and two movies in Paramount Plus.

In my opinion, my opinion, I prefer All Grown Up than Rugrats, I'm dislike Rugrats (Sorry). And like Sid from Casagrandes (That Handstand and headspin). And Ty Lee from Avatar The Last Airbender.

I'm not a fan of Rugrats (As mention), Ren and Stimpy, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters and Legend of Korra

There many shows I remember I enjoyed or not like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012) and Doug
