  1. Wonder Woman - From the trailers I was optimistic for the first time about a DCEU movie. And I wasn't disappointed. Regular Show: The Movie - Because of this movie, I have Timbuk3 stuck in my head.
  2. I had issues with the games that came after 64. Especially Assault. The on-foot sections were too fast, the flying sections were too slow, and most of the levels felt small and boring. It had nice music, though, even if it used a lot of tunes from 64. I actually kind of like Zero, though. The control scheme's awful, and I'm lukewarm to reboots, but in terms of level design and variety, I thought it was a good update to the SF64 formula. I'd like to see them bring back the character/ship selection from SF2/Command at some point.
  3. Chili and rice. I think next time I'll modify the chili recipe.
  4. I've dated, but haven't been in a full relationship since I was 19. I don't often meet women I have much in common with. And when I do, I don't feel like there's chemistry (go figure). Plus the whole aspie thing makes it a little hard to connect with people - even one of my exes initially thought I was gay. I've really only had one crush since my last relationship, and I eventually did ask her out. She let me down gently, saying she just got out of something. Haven't seen much of her since, though she said I should come to a party at her place this summer, so I think we're at least friends. *shrug*
  5. Most of the time, slasher horror movies. They tend to be more annoying than scary to me. I might watch it if it's a classic, like Halloween. I also can't stand crime dramas. Again, there are exceptions, but generally I find realistic crime too emotionally exhausting to watch. The only other one I can think of is teen dramas. Too angsty.
  6. I'm curious if there'll be anything other than Mario Odyssey to make me want a Switch. I haven't played the first EA Battlefront, but the footage I've seen of Battlefront II looks like it might be worthwhile. I'm not really expecting anything else, but hopefully there'll be some surprises.
  7. Lost in Space. Trying to broaden my '60s sci-fi horizons beyond Star Trek.
  8. I heard from my old roommate for the first time in a while. She said I should come to a party once she's moved into her new place.
  9. Lots of good ones so far. The Adventures of Tintin Doctor Who Gargoyles Inspector Gadget Invader Zim The Munsters Power Rangers Red Dwarf
  10. I finished Volume 4 of Saga. I also got some digital comics during a sale on Amazon. Finished Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur (weird, but interesting). I have a few more collections to read, including Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Star Wars: Poe Dameron, and Star Wars: Legacy. I'm actually in the middle of the Dark Empire trilogy right now. It's interesting, but I'd recommend the Thrawn books over it.
  11. Tragic stories have their place, but it's when they're taken to cliche extremes that people start to roll their eyes at them. "On his own from the age of five. Taught himself to survive by wrestling with mountain lions. Can't make friends because he knows he'll just hurt them. Etc." The kind of junk you think is "deep" in middle school.
  12. Onion chicken, roasted veggies, and green beans.
  13. Maybe Luigi, since he seems to have a little more personality than Mario. I also usually like games that feature Rosalina. Or, I could be that guy and say Geno. Only in one game, but it happened to be a really good one.
  14. I tend to like shows with an ongoing storyline a little more, like Steven Universe or Gravity Falls. I still think FIM is a better show than I ever would've expected it to be.
  15. The shows I loved growing up were Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko, Angry Beavers, Spongebob, and sometimes CatDog. I remember watching shows like Doug, Wild Thornberries, and Rocket Power, but I wasn't as big a fan of them. A few shows I didn't actually watch until I was in my 20s. Avatar (+Korra) and Invader Zim were great. I've also gone through MLAATR and Danny Phantom, which were pretty good.
  16. I think lots of times with a long-running series it's interesting to go back and look at what could have been. I'm satisfied with the series we've had since Faust left, but looking at some of those "what-if" scenarios helps you look at stories in a different way.
  17. Peanut butter and banana sandwich for dinner.
  18. I feel awkward talking about myself...including right now!
  19. During the post-Season 3 hiatus, I imagined a possible future for the Mane 6. Under Twilight's leadership, they would make it their mission to solve friendship problems across the world. Their headquarters would be a new castle, where all six were seated at a round table. Not exactly like Season 4 turned out, but close enough that I was pleasantly surprised when it was over.
  20. I think it's a solid movie. With some recent animated movies there's been something that bothers me (usually the humor), but I can't remember feeling anything like that during Zootopia.
  21. I prefer to drink coffee in the morning. I tend to drink herbal tea later in the day to help me relax.
  22. Why are we shipping them? They haven't even stood next to each other.
