Cl0udChaser 3,006 November 27, 2020 Share November 27, 2020 I was a spongebob fan around early seasons and stopped watching it around 2011 or 2012 because it wasn't good anymore and ran WAY TOO LONG. I don't care anymore.
Quinch 1,120 November 27, 2020 Share November 27, 2020 (edited) Hmmm... I'd say Homestuck, though I hadn't really left it as sort of drifted away during one of the larger pauses. I do hope to find the time to get back to it someday, though. Edited November 27, 2020 by Quinch 1 Current project: The Olden World audiobook What's to stop you? Here No Longer 5,276 November 27, 2020 Share November 27, 2020 Only one I've really "left" per say is MLP. I wasn't too much part of the actual fanbase in the first place, but I've really soured towards it since the last season of FiM. I will say the show is (mostly) good, but around mid-way through the final season I started to really not particularly care to watch more of it... Mostly because I moved on to other things, but also because of (at least here) the fandom becoming less friendly at a certain point and also because I just felt like I didn't like the show as much anymore. I haven't really left other fandoms... Most of them I either didn't have enough interest in to care for the fandom, or I would still consider myself a fan of.
Jon the VGNerd 885 December 1, 2020 Share December 1, 2020 So regarding anime... yeah, the fandom is far too chaotic because people have absolutely no idea what they're even on about. As much as I love anime, if people are gonna get triggered over specific shows that are either good or bad, then I want no part of it. Seems majority of fandoms are just going down the gutter because of variety of BS reasons. And don't get me started on Fortnite either. I never played the game and never will. And I don't even want to know what the Fortnite community even looks like.
ScribblePixel 50 December 8, 2020 Share December 8, 2020 Partially left the MLP fandom at first because I have met creeps from it to be blunt about it. Several. Plus I wasn't impressed with the third and fourth season, so I just stopped caring about it. I'm also less into the Nintendo and Pokemon fandoms because fans are just so toxic and treat the creators so badly for no reason. There is nothing wrong with criticism and reviewing a game but generally some of these people will never be satisfied. I'd also leave the furry fandom for reasons I won't explain but in general because of the drama and toxicity. I can't really leave though because I still draw what I want to draw and create the characters I want to create; so regardless as a artist I will be given the label.

Ricebug 555 December 9, 2020 Share December 9, 2020 I left the mlp fandom around the time Twilight got her wings. The show just wasn't entertaining to me anymore. Although I love these forums and have a lot of memories so I am reviving my dead account.

ohne 408 December 15, 2020 Share December 15, 2020 Anime: I don't find it amusing or entertaining anymore. They all have cliche plots and characters. I did have a giant anime phase when I was 11-13, then I just stopped caring. Also because it became a competition, like who watched how many animes and what not. Furry: I guess I was discouraged by others ''eww furry k*ll yourself'' ''furries are zoophiles'' ''you're into animals?'' etc. Yeah, you shouldn't let people do that to you, but I got tired of everything and stopped drawing animals and posting anything furry related. Kpop: I got sucked in in 2015. Back then the fandoms (international) were pretty small, liking kpop was considered weird, there wasn't many non korean fans. I stopped listening to kpop cuz I really got into other genres like metal and punk. I don't hate it, I sometimes listen to my ex-favorite groups but it's not rly my ''thing'' anymore, plus fandoms are toxic as heck.
Sonic Shimmer 4,132 December 15, 2020 Share December 15, 2020 This fandom for a couple of years or so, I just got bored with MLP. Obviously I ended up coming back 1 Friendship isn't always easy. But it's definitely worth fighting for. Twilight Sparkle is Best Pony!

I partly left it from my pre teen anime phase due to the dumb dubs are inherently better BS . Bruh, I’ve just heard Bernadetta’s Japanese voice clips in Fire Emblem Heroes and I immediately cringed . it’s like they wanna put the same archetypes over an over. Like Camilla in Fire Emblem Fates. In fact, that game better be called Fire Emblem Anime Clishe fest 1 Sig by Discords
Clawdeen 12,191 December 19, 2020 Share December 19, 2020 (edited) Jpop/Kpop/pop stars - I never really stopped being a fan of these groups and artists I listen to. It’s just due to how toxic the fandoms are I stopped interacting with them. The moment I stopped really interacting with the fan bases the happier I became listening to the groups and artists I loved. Sasoriman 136 December 22, 2020 Share December 22, 2020 I was into Pokemon in elementary school, when there were 150. When the lyrics said "and more to see", I thought it was a joke because now there's almost 1,000 of them now. Lordy.
