Maple set her hooves on the pony gently. "Ok... Stay calm. If you don't it'll hurt more but if you just hold still. Trust me ok?" She looked at the doctor "Go ahead and apply that medicine. She'll need it if she's in this much pain.

"Finally" He said "I found it." The dragonequus decided to head to the market, first to see who was there.

" Thank you, ma'am, that will work out just fine. If you don't mind delaying the meal a moment id love to wash up before eating"  He was just turning to walk to the room that had been indicated when he paused remembering that Joyleaf told him to mention his name. He didn't want the pony to think him rude. " Oh, ma'am somepony named Joyleaf told me to mention that he sent me. Not sure if it matters but I didn't want to be rud...." 

At the mention of Manehatten his ears flattened. He had not been home in so long and the messes he created there during his over-enthusiastic winter displays had gotten him in more than a little trouble. He slightly adjusted his saddle bags to try to hide his cutie mark. The bolt and snowflakes were well known to mean trouble at least for good chunks of those that knew his name.

Techno was in his lab deep breath equestria on his own as usual. Until he thinks of an alicorn that had been missing from his radar for years...

 

TU: Okay everything looks good today but wait isn't there an alicorn that's been out of my awareness for years now? Now when I think deeply into it there actually is! I'll need to look into this!

C. Will stepped forward. Despite his nervousness, he spoke in a clear, calm voice to all present.

"I am Changeling Will Guide, representative of the reformed Changelings led by King Thorax. I answer to Captain Maple Bat of the Equestrian Royal Night Guard, and seek friendly relations between my Changeling race and the other races around Equestria. My only wish is that all kinds of races can get along with my people. So, who may I speak to for such matters?"

Helios let out a soft giggle upon watching the patient's reaction. "There is no need to worry, young one. This medicine is entirely natural, made from fine herbs and plants found within the depths of the magical forest surrounding us. The zebras truly are miracle workers." He explained, satisfied at his remedy's positive results. "Do refrain from straining yourself, however. As I mentioned, this will only ease the pain. Your injury still needs some time to fully recover by itself." The professor then proceeded to put his tools back inside his saddlebag, then lifted himself up.

"My name is Helios Whitequill. I am a researcher in Celestia's School for Gifted Ponies. Accordingly, my intentions are to study this kingdom's long lost secrets and uncover every piece of information I am able to. As you may expect, I am rather thrilled about being here to witness this historical event along with you all." Helios nodded politely, before turning to face the bat pony mare who was sparring against the guard before.

"Night Guard, you say?... I must admit, I was quite impressed by your display of skill. It is pleasant to see that the Royal Guards remain as valiant and regal as ever." He brought a hoof up to his forehead as a salutation.

Maple looked at the pony who spoke to her seeing him she froze up. Then after hearing that compliment she blushed. "O...Oh thank you. I work the night guard really hard to get as good as me. Not all of them are there yet. Y... You're speaking to the strongest mare in the guard." She kept stuttering awkwardly her shyness kicking in.

The market seemed like quite the place. Lots of buildings and shops. He wasn't really sure where to start he looked to ask a pony where perhaps a special items store was he was interested in buys something unique like himself

"Thanks, I do feel better" she says. "Are you on some sort of quest?" she asks "I happen to be trained in Hoof-to-Hoof combat as well as weaponcraft". She then shows a sword she crafted to the medicine pony.

TU: Maybe I should go up to the mysterious princess and talk to her about her past! Maybe I'll be able to help her recover the deepest parts of her past even!

 

THE INNER KEEP:

 

Techno then teleported up to the castle and now he was just behind Argante. Techno was smiling in a friendly way...

 

TU: Hello there! You've been off my radar for hundreds of years now and finally you return into my sight! Anyways I'm Techno and if you don't remember I'm actually the original creator of equestria. Anyways I was wondering about your past like what exactly happened to you that caused me to lose all sight of you.

Orange Blossom nodded. Of course Joyleaf sent him to her. The stallion can't help put his nose in other ponies business. 

"You are more than welcome to wash up, you will be on the third floor, the room you will want has a crescent moon on it, that will be your room. Go ahead and do your things~" She yelled from the kitchen. Cooking up all the dishes her patrons wanted. The smell wafted around and was intoxicating.

A small dark red mare noticed the Dragonequus. What a strange creature~ She was sure her princess would love to meet this fellow.

"Pardon me~ Sir~" she trotted over to him, moving her teal hair out of her way she smiled at him. "Can I help you in any way? I know you are definitely not from around here."  She laughed a bit with absolute warmth in her voice, tilting her head hoping she could help him.

Argante cried out at the sudden voice behind her. Shooting herself in the air and flying above them all. 

"Princess!!"

The guard went into full defensive mode. The few pegasi flew up to their princess to see if she was okay. 

She was of course, but she was more embarrassed than anything else. She let out such a squeak, how embarrassing.

She looked to the alicorn in question though. Creator of Equestria? What did he mean? Maybe it was a secret of some sort her parents didn't get to tell her??? She was very confused. 

"Stand down everypony, I'm okay, I promise...was just...a bit spooked....." She trailed off, embarrassed. She rubbed her bracelets and floated back down quickly so that the guard didn't do anything rash.

Helios laughed heartily. "I can certainly tell you're strong!... Back in my youthful days, I, too, used to be a member of the Royal Guards. Those days are long gone, however, and now I am but a simple scholar... Gladly, we still have ponies such as yourself willing to protect our beloved land. Do keep up the great work, soldier." He saluted one more time.

"My name is Helios Whitequill, Captain Maple Bat. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

He took the weapon and gave it a thorough inspection. "Ah-ah... How splendid! A fine work, indeed." He complimented. "Unfortunately, I do not intend to engage in combat as it is. My partner, however, would surely be interested. Her very intentions are to learn the ways of the Lost Kingdom warriors... Speaking of which..." The stallion took a brief look around the vicinity in search of said partner.

"She should have arrived by now... She stopped by the local tavern in order to arrange something to fill her stomach and I told her to meet here afterwards, but... She might be taking longer than I had anticipated."

Once Helios took note of the commotion, his ears perked up. Due to the amount of guards that jumped into action to attend to the princess' needs, however, little could he tell about what went on. He decided to wait for a while longer

Albeit focused on her refreshing drink, Lory was still able to overhear part of the conversation that went on around her. "A room, eh?..." She commented to the barmaid. "Yeah, that sounds cool... I could totally catch some Z's right about now." She then took another sip of the cider. Soon enough, the smell of food reached her nostrils. The mare grew a wide smile and tried peeking over the counter, attempting to watch the master at work.

"Yoooo... I know you can't rush perfection, but I can dig a ninety-nine percent score! Stop teasing me, sweetie~" She called out.

Winter Bolt took one last glance at the pony that mentioned Manehatten and could not place them so he just hustled off hoping he didn't come off as too odd. I mean it was a huge city after all so why would one pony out of how many recognize him. I mean other than the fact that he did once block off part of Fifth Avenue during a snow day....  but that was when he was a colt it was only his second winter being trained to help with the weather.... who could remember that.

He got to his new room and set down his saddle bags. He was glad to be rid of them. A nice bed and a much better blanket than he carried in his bag were provided. He grabbed a well-worn washcloth from his bag and used that to help wash the dust and grit out of his coat and mane. He took special time to clean the blue sapphire necklace he got on the day he got his cutie mark. From there he used the pricey Ironwood tale comb his mother gave him the same day to get his tail up to his usual high standard. Feeling much better he walked downstairs again and sat at the table he had placed his order at. He was looking forward to the meal, something to drink, and a bit of honest work. Being a drifter took a bit of a toll sometimes.

Argante nodded and her head was reeling after the events unfolded one after the other. 

"Okay, Okay, we need to calm this down a bit." She sighed softly and thought. She needed to find out what this alicorn was talking about but she also needed to talk with Luna's guards. Then there was a council meeting to be had later....

"Princess...I can show the two Luna guards around so you may speak with this unknown alicorn..." Shadow Jewel side eyed the alicorn in question and pointed to two guardsponies. Pegasus and unicorn left to stand beside their princess and nodded at her, a silent gesture that they would protect her. Argante nodded softly and silently thanked the battle worn mare. She would have to get her favorite sweet later as a thank you gift. 

"If you would follow me, we have a lot to discuss." She walked back into the keep, hoping he would follow behind or walk beside her. She didn't want anyone unknown waltzing around the keep and getting lost.

Jewel sighed. This is too much for today. She handed out a few orders and turned to the visitors. "I guess I'm giving you the tour."

The Market

"Oh dear me I apologize for bein' rude~ I am Rosebud, and I would be happy to show you around. Well...for awhile at least, I have a meeting to go to later." She smiled and stood beside him. 

"Our town may not have a whole lot of modern things like the rest of the world, we are working on it though, we do have our interesting things. Like our newest batch of experimental fruit! Its delicious and I can't wait to come up with a recipe for it."

Orange Blossom smiled as Winter left to the available room. She finished cooking and smiled at the mare calling out for food. As she came out with all the food on a tray, the patrons cheered. She bumped and moved and gracefully danced all around the tavern giving everypony their food. She gave Lory her food last and smiled as she watched everyone dig into her food. It always made her happy to have people eat her cooking.

"I'm not here for a tour. I'll stay for a while but I was just here to inform you that The royal sisters will not attack the kingdom unless given a reason too." Maple said "I guess though I can't say no to the offer of one.

Woody (In The Market)

"Well nice to meet you Ms." Woody said being polite. He put a paw on his chest bowing gently "My name is Woodland Orchestra. I'd be interested in helping with this fruit experiment that you're talking about sounds like it could be good and I'm curious what you do to 'Make fruit'." He said

At the commander's invite to have a tour around the place, Helios brought a hoof to his chin and thought for a few seconds before answering. Sure, he still needed to reunite with his partner. If he were to wander off from the meeting point, he took the risk of losing track of where his partner was, and perhaps it would interfere even more in their reunion. On the other hoof, the partner in question was already late on the clock. If the professor stayed any longer, he could very well miss the opportunity to get to know the kingdom and its ancient wonders. He knew exactly what he was dealing with.

After a brief moment of pondering, the stallion looked over at Shadow Jewel and bowed.

"A tour sounds lovely, General. I shall accept the invitation - it would be illogical to let it slip. You have my gratitude" And he began following her. He lowered his head in order to speak to Jordan. "Whoever they are, they seem of high importance. Perhaps we should leave the Royals be, for now."

"Ohhhhh yes..." Lory's eyes shone brighter than the starry night sky and her mouth drooled like a famished stray dog. "At long last!..." She romanced the food that stood in front of her for a while longer, before finally picking it up from the plate and taking a bite out of it. She felt - or at least acted - like she had entered the gates of heaven.

"Mmm! Thfis ihs sho goodf!!" She complimented whilst chewing. After just a couple of minutes, her meal had completely vanished.

"Whew... Dude... You just saved my life." She said, patting her belly. "Y'know what, I guess I'll also take one of your rooms, if there is any vacancy... What do I owe you?" She asked, reaching for her saddlebag.

Winter Bolt settles into his meal greatly enjoying the energy boost and the easing of his hunger pangs. The fact that it was delicious was just icing on the cake. He tried to savor the meal as the oats were cooked to perfection and the honey was different than anything he had ever tasted. The cider was the perfect wash down to cap off the whole meal as it was sweet but not syrupy which meant it quenched the thirst without cloying to your  Finishing his meal he wondered what to do with his plates before he headed out to get his supplies and then returned for the nightly clean up as promised. He waited for Orange Blossom to be free so he could ask her what sort of time he might have to get done what he needed to do.
