I think Gaston will win, but that is mainly because I only can remember the fox and beer remake of Robin Hood.

I would say Gaston just due to the simple fact he has a gun and his aim in the movie is really good, but technically Gaston is dead so the sheriff would win from Gaston's disqualification due to his death caused by Beast well he caused his own death, but then again the sheriff was sentenced to work on a technical rock farm so he was imprisoned so hmm I suppose I'll stick with Gaston.

In my opinion, it would be a tie. 

 

The Sheriff of Nottingham wasn't very good at defending himself against Friar Tuck &

 

only won because he had help from one of his vulture gaurds.

 

While Gaston confronted Beast & attacked him when he was emtionally vulnerable.

I forgot how the Gaston/Beast fight went so, I had to rewatch it to see how it happened.

No, due to Sherrif of Nottingham being younger & stronger than Friar Tuck.

I just think it would've been  alot more fair if Sheriff of Nottingham didn't have assistance from his vulture guard.

I'll just say Gaston because:

a: I haven't seen or don't remember Disney's Robin Hood.

b: Gaston is good at rallying his own support if it comes to that.

c: As others have said, Gaston is a hunter.

Wasnt the Sheriff much taller too? I can't remember as its been too long since I watched it. I thought the Sheriff was winning though before the vulture interfered?

I would say Gaston, he's cunning and fit to fight, while the SoN is a bit of a sobbish fighter.

Gaston would win. The Sheriff is not in battle ready condition for going up against an experienced huntsman. Gaston may cower when faced with a truly worthy adversary but the Sheriff ain't one.

Gaston of course. No one fights like Gaston, douses lights like Gaston, in a wrestling match nobody bites like Gaston. 

When he was a lad he ate four dozen eggs every morning to help him get large. And now that he’s grown he eats five dozen eggs, so he’s roughly the size of a barge.

As a specimen, yes he’s intimidating. Oh what a guy, that Gaston.
