Do you think the Season 8 finale will have a song?

Title says it all, really, since the finales for Seasons 6 and 7 didn't have songs.

I hope so. I always enjoy a song at the end of the season.

Me too, always feled ... strange. We had "At the Gala" and the two Pinkie Songs in Season 1, "BBBFF" and "This Day Aria" and "Love isin bloom" in Season 2, All the songs in MMC in Season 3, "You'll play your part" and "Let the Rainbow remind you" in Season 4 and "Always there for you" in Season 5. So it feeled odd in S6 finale, when suddenly screen goes black and credits roll. Knowing there only 5 songs in S7 and the fifth was Rumbles Blank Flank song, I knew S7 will be the sameand it was so. So yeah, a happy song or something for S8, even if at the begin of the finale, would be nice

I have a strong feeling season 8 will continue this trend of songless finales and that is the better way to do it, in my opinion. I love the songs, but I think they work better in regular episodes where the stakes aren't as high usually. The finales tend to have very important plots going on and a song could just seem really out of place among it all.

I'm not really a big fan of the songs, but some of the best songs are in the Season Finales, although not really any great ones since Magical Mystery Cure (S3).
