general Bad shopping experiences?

Have you ever had bad shopping experiences? Like at a grocery store or mall??? If so, tell us your stories! Maybe someone will have the same experience as you?

One of my stories: It was around BlackFriday this year and my mom and I decided to go to Wal-Mart a few days before the big BF antics start. A lot of things were on sale so at first we though we would get some good stuff. Boy, were we WRONG. Almost every good product was either sold out or broken because people fought over them. Not only that, everyone around us kept running into each other being really rude. The worst part was that it was really hard to escape the madness! Every time we tried to leave certain areas, people would crowd around and block our way out. We FINALLY made it out with nothing but a few rolls of toilet paper and a few pens. :okiedokieloki:

Well...I've had a few bad shopping experiences. I bought THREE model kits. I thought it would be fun, but BOY was I wrong. The first one I bought was an R34 Calsonic Nissan GTR Model Kit and I tried to forcefully stick the pieces together. The pieces kept falling off and I got SO frustrated that I broke it in the process :sunny:

I only then realised that I need glue in order to stick the pieces together, so I went back to the store and bought another one. While my 2nd attempt was better, I did NOT have fun building it and I got super-glue ALL over my fingers and it was a total mess + I spend $30 on super glue alone. I abandoned the project and bought a Ford GT model kit that DIDN'T require ANY glue whatsoever. All I had to do was follow the instructions and stick the pieces together. I made a boo-boo and I put the rear wheels on the front and as I tried to pulled them out, it broke the front suspension. So yeah, I haven't had the best of luck with model kits and I wasted A LOT of money all because I wanted to satisfy my curiosity :adorkable:

when it comes to model building I can give you a few tips if you ever want any for example with glue, try to only apply a small amount at a time and use something like a toothpick to apply it so you don't make a mess though I make ww2 tank models.. so I dunno how different it is compared to cars

I remember trying to buy gift cards at a store (forgot what gift cards or what store) and how I had to go back around 4 times because something wrong kept happening with them when trying to redeem them *shrug*

Does online purchasing count? If so then I've had experiences where I purchased something only for it to not end up reaching me as intended. I've had instances where cards I bought ended up going to the Caribbean before coming my way in Canada--why they were sent down there still baffles me to this day. I've also gotten cards from Germany only to have them stuck at Canadian customs for weeks and because you can't contact them in any way, I got pretty stressed out over it--this happened last summer.

I bought an ocarina, and reviews were pretty good about it. Though I guess they were fraud because the only good thing about the ocarina was how it looked. It played like it was made by a child, hell a child could probably craft a better one. It was very much out of tune past "F", and much like my singing it couldn't hit high notes. So after two weeks of waiting now I had to order a new ocarina from a different source. This new one should be here by next week, so let's hope this one plays well.

I know exactly how you feel, that happened to me almost 10 years ago back when I played Wizard 101. I walked a mile and a half to buy a card for an exclusive pet I wanted to breed... and it didn't work.

That's why I don't go to stores anymore on, or near Black Friday. The campers, and overly aggressive people ruin it... much like in Call of Duty. Cyber Monday is so much more convenient, and no jackasses who need an ass kicking.
