Actually, they referred to it as the Changeling Hive or Changeling Kingdom in past episodes and Thorax is always refered to as a leader, never a King or Emperor in-universe. Honestly, it shouldn't even matter what their region is called. What's important is that Thorax's group wants to improve social relations with the rest of the nations.
