Well, in the case of the book, I bet they'd all have quite a few questions upon getting to the child group sex scene. After that I'm not sure if any of them would want to read too much farther in.

Dash would probably enjoy it, she seems like the horror loving type. 

Applejack would probably be too proud to admit she's scared.

Fluttershy would have done died.

Pinkie Pie wouldn't find it scary, she'd find the clown hilarious and fun.

Twilight would probably only find the book good, she wouldn't watch the movie.

Rarity wouldn't even want to watch it or read it in the first place.

I doubt they'd be phased by the movie. It wasn't very scary.
