Yesterday's supper – had a sudden craving for bacon sandwiches. Added courgette slices & mixed peppers.

Defrosted take-out curry, again. Balti this time I think. And also one of those with the added prawns & mussels. Plus garnished with raw onion & mixed peppers, + a bit of salad. (As my mother used to say, 'to add colour'. )

Lunch — mushrooms & courgette fried in olive oil with garlic & onion, boiled potatoes, ketchup... two mince pies followed!

Tea — cheese & tomato sandwiches (cheeses were Cheddar & red Leicester), Heinz sandwich spread, soggy lettuce, potato chips on the side.....

Lunch time, smoked haddock & peas on a bed of crushed potatoes (aka, badly mashed mash). Himalayan pink salt, black pepper, ketchup, & tea.

My Yuletide lunch consisted of.....

Turkey steak fried in olive oil with garlic, black pepper & mixed herbs, then finished in the oven; roast potatoes, parsnips & carrot; brussel sprouts ('boiled' in microwave), a pork sausage, stuffing, cranberry sauce, rose champagne.....

Mince pie to follow.....

I'm saving the Xmas pudding for tea time...
