Swedish Nickelodeon to air the rest of the season before the end of this month

Looks like we are once again in face of early airing. Apparently, Nickelodeon in Sweden will air up to just before the finale by the end of the month

Seeing as I already knew about this when I posted the last episode thread I'm not too surprised that this is happening. But hey, I'm ready for a crapton of spoilers.

Great for all the Swedish fans, getting so many episodes in a short time, but whatever happened to consistency? I'm still haven't caught up with the US airings, but now I'm gonna be even further behind and avoiding spoilers will be harder than ever.

Unfortunately, there's no English audio track on Nickelodeon Sweden. So they will air in Swedish dub only.

The spoilers worry me too, but I think this forum is pretty safe when it comes to them – at least the information about the Australian-aired episodes has stayed in the threads about those episodes.

You weren't here when the last episodes of Season 6 aired in Canada before the US, there were spoilers galore when that happened.  But things are better now.

And I'm sure people will make English subtitled versions; they've done that in the past, like when the 22 minute Equestria Girls specials aired early abroad (I wanna say they were airing in Malaysia? It has been too long )

I can imagine that was pretty bad. I have just kept browsing the forums as usual in the few hours after the Australian airings, even before I've watched them – I could never have imagined doing that with the American premieres! Though there's still the possibility of some posts without spoiler tags appearing on the activity feed...

As for the subtitles, they're not of much use to me. I couldn't imagine watching an episode in any language other than English – I didn't watch the Finnish early releases (though it's my mother tongue!) and I think my Swedish is sufficient for understanding an MLP episode too, but the different voices would be too distracting (even though I've understood the Swedish dub is actually good).

It was Poland. It seems like these Northern European countries just love dumping these shows on their own time immediately after they receive the dub. This year it's Finland and Sweden. Just watch Norway or Denmark's going to release the first half of Season 9 next year.

Seriously, I'll go clear some air regarding future episode discussions. On the Road to Friendship is the last one I'm working on right now. As of right now, the future episode assignments are as follows:

1. The Washouts (ep20): @MegaSean45
2. A Rockhoof and a Hard Place (ep21): @TheTaZe
3. What Lies Beneath (ep22): @MegaSean45 asked me by PM if that was available, which it is. As such, I think it's fair for him to create the thread.

5. Father Knows Beast (ep24): @Will Guide

The S8 finale has no host yet, and because I've been slacking on updating content (i.e., opening the poll until at least a day following its airing in Australia), I might let someone else work on it.

It’s really not that different from English as far as languages go, you could probably follow what’s going on in even if you don’t understand everything that’s being said.
