It's finally his chance to meet someone of his own species.

I'm also curious what Winona would look like in Equestria. I'm also curious about Ember dog, Garble dog, Torch dog.

Spike and Winona... I don't remember seeing that much. And I'm not really surprised – they are of the same species, but Spike is an anthropomorphic dog (with the personality of his dragon equivalent) while Winona seems to be a regular dog...

had to check which forum I am currently in, so anyway I never even shipped dog Spike with anyone, not even with Winona. I don't think I want the show create another romance fuel like two Twilights dating two different guys, or Applejack dating with Rarity

When Equestria Girls first came out, I remember seeing a lot of fanfics with Dog!Spike Winona, but it was mostly just crackfics. I still see new ones on Fimfiction sometimes, but not as much.

Dog Spike gets around, and I don't want to think about that anymore then I have to.
