Thats the thing, even I realize Twilight isn't the sexiest in an objective sense, she's sexy to me personally. And you know its strange but the moment I made my last post I started thinking and I realized that I think of Applejack almost as much as I think of Twilight...which completly undermines what I just said about nerdy and brainy girls doing it for me. Yeah, I like the athletic girls too, including Dashie (I've had more than one Soarin Dash fantasy).

 

Soarin? Really? Everybody knows that Dashie's heart belongs to Pinkie Pie though I have seen more than enough clopfics based off of the Crystal Empire jousting scene. Also I agree with you, crystal pony Applejack is cute as hell and almost as attractive as Rainbow... though not quite ;P

No way man, Rainbow Dash couldn't stand a day with Fluttershy as a partner, she is too timid to suit Dashie's personality. Also I doubt it could be beastility, furries have been around forever.

It's the contrast in personalities that works very well. Around Fluttershy Rainbow learns to be calmer and over all more open. Around Rainbow Fluttershy is more upfront and forward. The meld you get between the two is what I like above all else (and the fact thay canonically have known each other the longest). I literally could just keep going on...

I think the major issue many have with this thread(including myself) is the word sexy and that it implies wanting to have sex with somepony.
I am struggeling to answer the question myself, because, yes, ponies are attractive for me and looking at the more "hot"(not r34) pics makes me go all , but it doesn't change anything "down under" and I still can't imagine having sex with them.
And that's probably why the thread "Are ponies attractive?" is much easier to answer.

I know exactly what that means ;P and I can't really agree, the accent just kills it for me honestly. I just find it odd at how brony's who clop are looked on by the majority of the community. I believe the reason why being a 'clopper' is so frowned upon is because the show was originally intended for a different audience than watches it today.  so the idea that some people are sexually aroused by it is just too much for people to handle.

 

Well, what attracts me are the cute girls, with smooth features, coy and straight hair. So, Twi and often Fluttershy kind of hit the mark, especially when Twi is Adorkable. 

 

And when people draw them sexy, their sexy! 

 

On the show, cute, adorkable, and when it comes to Twilight, often really attractive, for me. Some of twilight's cuter moments have almost had me drooling. lol. 

 

Odd, maybe. I have never been one to be normal. lol.

And then yeah. when its the show, cute. if the entire purpose of a picture is to make a pony sexy then its not completely horrible to say that is's sexy (considering that was the intended effect).

I would agree with you if it were not for the downright hostility expressed by some members of the fanbase towards those particular members who do find this stuff arousing. There is not a single work of intelligent art that has not had people who want to have sex with it. If I had to pick anything to label as a base human trait, it would be that.

I don't know about you, but I for one find that being attracted to the characters comes naturally with loving the show. The more that you bond with and connect with the characters emotionally, it sparks physical attraction as well. Or at least that's how it was in my case, I couldn't dream to speak for the majority.

True, but Pokemon which was also intended for younger audiences has a lot of rule 34 material too it is not anywhere near the popularity it was at its peak but is still one of the fastest growing in rule 34 images on the internet. Yet I still don't hear anyone arguing that the rule 34 fans make that fandom look bad.

Yep, and the part that confuses me is this. I can get NOT being attracted to the characters on MLP, but what I can't get is not understanding how others are, that's the part that gets me. That people are incapable of understanding what other people find attractive in it. It almost seems like they are outright rejecting the possibility of finding it arousing.

I think it has a lot more to do with the fact that the characters in question are not human than the fact that they are fictional. But yes I would not be surprised if some of the hard core clopper haters are in fact closet cloppers themselves, it is one thing to not like or agree with something or even just not really be your thing but to imply that people like that are "making us look bad" is a bit harsh.
