heavens-champion 1,905 April 11, 2019 Share April 11, 2019 (edited) What if Grogar's big plan in the finale involves turning Twilight evil, to divide the Mane 6? We all know how strong they are together, and while Grogar could simply destroy them, he might decide that turning one of them against the others might be even better. Zestanor 98 April 12, 2019 Share April 12, 2019 Turning them against one another has been explored in several episodes, so they probably won't do that again. But turning her actually evil, like a villain? That would be very out of character for the show.

SaburoDaimando 1,196 April 12, 2019 Share April 12, 2019 THat would be an interesting twist. Grogar manages to turn Twilight evil and one of two things can happen 1) She agrees to work with the Legion of Doom and become a great asset for them 2) She turns against the Legion and becomes the final villain. And BTW. Ponified Midnight Sparkle anyone?
Rushing cash 839 April 12, 2019 Share April 12, 2019 It can be possible, at one point in the premier discord showed a hologram(?) of evil twilight siting on a throne, it could be foreshadowing, but I wouldn't bet on it. The final battle I think will include the dragons and other species working together with to beat grogar.

EpicEnergy 23,240 May 1, 2019 Share May 1, 2019 I don't think that would happen, he seems to have the intention of only destroying them. To keep one alive, or turn one to his side, would be risky and wouldn't accomplish his goal. *totally not up to any shenanigans*
FlareGun45 2,221 May 1, 2019 Share May 1, 2019 Who knows? Grogar knows that the magic of friendship is what defeated all the other villains in the past, and Grogar is no fool! Of course he'll try to divide the Mane 6!
RDDash 19,237 May 5, 2019 Share May 5, 2019 Would have been easier for him if he just killed her too be honest, I doubt Hasbro would go for it.
Kadeda 178 May 5, 2019 Share May 5, 2019 I would be interested to see it. Discord sorta foreshadowed it a bit so i wouldn't say that it couldn't happen.

Fairly sure killing another character just like that is too brutal. (even though they technically did kill the storm king in the MLP Movie)

I think they've already thrown "too brutal" out the window. I know that unlike the Storm King, who essentially had his death confirmed in EG: Spring Breakdown, Sombra can still come back...but never forget the pain he endured. Everyone loves Misty. For good reason, of course. :

Did they really kill Sombra though? He kind of just vaporized. Possibly.
Partialgeek514 5,014 May 7, 2019 Share May 7, 2019 I'm more interested in the Mean 6 Twilight replacing Twily, though I don't know if that will happen. I really like her as a villain.

I myself have leaned towards the possibility of him being an immortal shadow, but the point stands...that scene of his defeat was beyond brutal. Everyone loves Misty. For good reason, of course. :
