First real day of my new job. All week I have the same god-awful shift of 10:30 AM to 7 PM, and until I get a car I have to walk 15 minutes to work and back each day. Permit test is tomorrow, taking it for a second time, and I'm pessimistic that I'll fail again and have to wait another week, and spend another thirty bucks I shouldn't have to spend just to take it a third time. To top everything off I'm starving and tired.

Feeling a bit strange... just woke up after sleeping heavy about two hours earlier. Pondering things such as why does apart of me feel so lonely from time to time. I've been trying to tell myself not to put my happiness upon others and just to be content on my own. That also wondering why apart of me wants to be in a relationship so badly. I mean honestly I don't need that to be a happy person and only by being selfish is making myself depressed.

 

So here I am just telling myself these things to remind myself what truly is important and that I don't need others to be happy. I have to be happy with myself before anything. Inner conflicts and a lot of late night pondering pretty much.

I'm looking back at my first pony art from last year, and I feel rather silly. Most of the ones I saved are really bad, but at the time, they were the best I could do.   I hope the best I can do now will make me cringe next year, too. It's a comforting sign of improvement.
