The stalk market wizard says I'm going to have my peak of turnip prices this week either tomorrow morning or tomorrow afternoon on Thursday. If the price goes up to 300s, I'll open my gate to all the names that are mentioned above

3:02am, 3:25am, 3:27am, 3:28am

You forgot me :P No worries though, I don’t use the online feature much anyways so you don’t have to mention me

@HereComesTom

Didn't you say that if I use a certain website and write down the hourly weather of my Island every hour I could increase my chances of finding out my Islands "seed" and use that to predict when I'm going to have a good turnip prices?

If you're asking about that MeteoNook that tom uses, that's for the weather only. The turnip site i mentioned was the turnip wizard which is this one.

Anyway i'm still looking for these paintings and statues so far even if you guys have redd visiting. I just had to donate scary painting which i didn't do. The ones i'm missing are wild painting left side, rock-head statue, informative statue, motherly statue, wistful painting, and valiant statue.

I've been using the stalk market website in the link for months now. I'm actually talking about the Metro Nook. I Just simply want to know if I can figure out the weather patterns by using that tool thing every hour

It's doable---it's how I get the meteorite timings, and how I keep finding Celeste and letting everypony know about her.

Getting the seed was a frustrating experience, but I think I'll be able to help make it less frustrating for you.

Here's a link to the site:  https://wuffs.org/acnh/weather/

The way it works is this:  there actually only about a dozen to twenty different weather-patterns that any given day can have.  I mean, take a look at this screenshot of the weather for my island:

image.thumb.png.5b1ca61a6a6c84a678f5d5942ee78fb0.png

See how the 26th and the 30th both have "FineRain01" on the left?  And notice how there's a drop of rain just after the line, then a partly cloudy icon, and then another drop of rain?  That means that, on the 26th and the 20th, it'll rain from 12pm to 1pm, and then it'll stop raining for an hour and be partly cloudy, and then from 2pm to 3pm, it'll rain again.  Every day that has the FineRain01 pattern will always have it rain 12pm-1pm and 2pm-3pm, and it'll never rain any other time of day.

Most weather patterns don't even include any rain; they just have variations in how many clouds there are in the sky.  For example, there's the Fine04 pattern, where it's mostly sunny from 5am-9am, then partly cloudy 9am-10am, then mostly sunny 10am-noon, and then completely clear from noon to 1pm.  The 18th and the 21st are like that, and if you pay attention to the icons in the 18th's row and the 21st's row, you'll see the icons are exactly the same.

The way MeteoNook works is:  based on what times there are clouds, what kinds of clouds there are, and whether there's rain or not, it can figure out what weather-pattern a given day is.  it takes several datapoints for it to figure out what the weather-pattern is; sometimes it only takes two datapoints, sometimes more.  But if it can figure out the weather-pattern for enough days, it can narrow down the seed number for you island---and once you have the seed number, you'll know exactly what the weather will be, and exactly when the meteors will appear, literally down to the second!

The devil is in the details, though:  sometimes, you can look up and see a sky that might count as mostly sunny, or that might count as clear.  Or you might see a sky that might count as mostly sunny, or it might count as partly cloudy.  It's often hard to tell.  I got that wrong plenty of times, myself, which gave me a lot of headaches and false positives.  When in doubt, pick the either/or options that meteonook gives you:  clear/sunny or sunny/cloudy are options that they give you while you're figuring out your seed number.

If you happen to know exactly which minutes meteors have fallen on your island, that'll help Meteonook's algorithm even more.

It was a pain to figure out my island's seed number at first, but once I did, it was very helpful, indeed.

Before I forget, I'll have a high turnip price spike on my island tomorrow!  @ExplosionMare (sorry for forgetting you!)  @Will Guide @KirbyFluttershy @A French Derpy full of Salt @Eren Jeager

We'll see which one of us gets the higher price :)

it's hard to tell if you have a high spike on turnip prices unless you've been updating your turnip price list as i do. That's how i shared my turnip prices. I was hoping for a large spike, but i ended up in a small one.

Well come to think of it will, i did recall that when me and my friends are on tom's island and he told us that finding the seed is the tricky part if i'm not mistaken.

That was indeed the hard part!

Anyhow, my turnip price is 361, and my dodo code is 70MMV

I was able to send my friend over to sell her turnips on your island. it wasn't much of a profit, but i think she could do better. lemme know over here or on discord if you're doing it again as long as it's 300+.

It's not necessary to check every hour---sometimes all it takes is two datapoints per day for it to figure out which weather-pattern you've got on a given day.  MeteoNook tells you when it has enough.

Meteor timings can be even more helpful; if you can tell it which minutes you do have meteors---and, just as importantly, which minutes you don't---that can help a lot!

Crazy Red's on my Island today. The famous painting and the beautiful statue are real and I already got both. So if anyone want to come to my Island to get one of those two, let me know.

@KirbyFluttershy Redd's here, but the only non-fake art he has is a Mysterious Painting, which I just bought.  Is that one of the paintings you need?  If it is, I could just give it to you once it arrives in the mail.

it takes 3 days or so to get a amiibo villager to move in after that, you have a choice of kicking a villager out and replace it with the villager you want to move in after that the amiibo villagers can't be kicked out until you decide to let them move out however they can't be transferred to another island or town.

I don't know why some people think you can go to Isabelle and tell them to get rid of a villager. the only things she can do about the villager is reset their catchphrase or their clothing if they happen to be saying a catchphrase that could be offensive or they're wearing a custom design that could be offensive

The thing about campers is that if you're using a exclusive amiibo villager like the sanrio villagers, you can choose who to kick out. i'm not sure if they move out when they approach you. if you have a camper on that day, then the camper you invite through amiibo will arrive on the next day or you can wait for the next day and invite the camper through amiibo on that day.

back in new leaf, wolf link which is the LoZ villager that i have in my town, he doesn't approach me for moving out which i had for years and then i brought chelsea in.

@KirbyFluttershy @ExplosionMare @Will Guide @Eren Jeager

I'll have heavy meteor showers on my island tonight!  Of course, I'm posing this about eleven and a half hours before it starts, so I have no idea whether Celeste will be here or not.

There's less point than you'd think saying what the meteor timings will be; I mean, there's so many of them---I'll see if I can copy/paste them from off of the MeteoNook app:

🌠 19:00 - :04, :10, :11, :16, :20, :32, :47, :59

Just gonna give an update on the missing paintings and statues so far, but even if you guys don't get redd visiting, then a villager may gift a painting or statue to you in a letter so i may accept those as long as it's real. The only way to tell if a painting or statue is real from a villager is that go inside your house, place the painting or statue on the floor, and then use the camera for a close look. outdoors work, but a villager may just walk into the camera. The paintings and statues i'm missing for now are wild painting left side, wistful painting, rock-head statue, and motherly statue.

Lemme know if one of you guys have a high turnip price. i'm trying to help a friend out, but her "oh well" attitude is making it hard, and pointless (or useless) for me to help her out as she doesn't listen.

Will do; I pay very close attention to my turnip priced.  So far, every piece of art I've gotten from other villagers has been fake, though :/
