Sunset got a Pony Life toy. This could mean she'll appear in Season 2 of Pony Life.

Starlight a Glimmer has toys too, but didn’t appear in the show. That may be an exception rather than a rule, as all Horse Life toys, that I know off, appeared in the show (including Minty). What puts Sunny in her favor is that she not only has a unique art in the toys (instead of a recolor), but the bipedal thing in the toys where she just happens to debut . Maybe that’ll be her “adorable” power or however it was officially called in Facebook, I think

Not to be a shipper on deck, but I hope Pony Life's Sunset and Starlight are portrayed as lesbians towards each other.
