Fallout 4 will be next gen if it's ever even produced.

Which means that firstly it will not look well like NV did, let's be honest that game had issues

and I don't just mean graphics, the load times where a bitch too, albeit I clocked like 60+ hours into that game. The whole

different ammo thing was too much of a pain though, I just kept restarting with a different character build but I digress.

Anyhow if F4 comes out, I'll play it. It probably won't even be out for at least 2 years anyhow hopefully I'll have a next gen

console/PC that I can max the game out on by then.

Then again the games existance is speculation.

I love the different ammo types..AP rounds, Explosive rounds, INcindiary, and Over Charge, Max charge for energy weapons.AP made quick work of armoureed enemies from affar with my anti-Material rifle.  The load times on console were really slow. But on PC it's almost instant. You don't even have enough time to read theTips that are on the loading screen usually.

As for Fallout 4.I'd  like to see different races/species as choices. like you can be a ghoul or a Super Mutant/Nightkin or a human. Each maybe with their own special ability. Like a Super Mutant would have high health/strength and a large carrying capacity. A ghoul would resist radiation, and human, I don't know better gun skill?

If character class effected base stats but not perks available as you level up that'd be pretty sweet. Super mutants would have high endurance, hp, and strength, but low charisma, science, and lockpicking for instance. Would be pretty cool, and having partially pre)determined character builds would help balance the stats because frankly Fallout 3 was v easy with high intelligence you could talk your way out of any problem, FVNV was all over the place in terms of balancing.

yea.though in NV I Liked the ability to have more than one way to fix something or convince a certian person. like to fix a computer/robot/terminal you could have a Science Skill of X and it not be enough so you could resort to your Repair Skill of X which is high enough. Or while talking to some one use Barter instead of speech...etc..

Fallout 4 is the new Half Life 3 (Half Life 2: Episode 3) - don't expect it anytime soon, bwois n' gurls!

It's a Bethesda game. Of course it'll be buggy as all hell and have comically stiff animations, that's all part the charm... :D

I miss the days where I could say that X game is pulling a Duke Nukem Forever, it'll be done when it's done.

From what I gathered from the recent youtube news videos, Bethesda is trying to be the good guys and let the devs do their own thing.  They're looking into what made Fallout 3 and New Vegas worked, analyzing their strengths and weaknesses and what needs to be improved or removed.  Both vanilla games had ending that were not well received; so we certainly don't want a trifecta ending that fans were not happy with.

It would be nice for Bethesda to let fans create Fallout 3 from the ground up using Skyrims engine.  Of course I'm just fantasizing.

I'd love to see Fallout go back to its Roots. I've been playing fallout 1 and 2 lately and its style and humor are top notch in every respect, even with its super dated graphics. Not to mention you had much more freedom in the first two games than you ever had in New Vegas and Fallout 3 (like becoming a Gigolo Pornstar for example, or a ruthless Mobster, Or a Slaver, Or get married and then sell your spouse into slavery... You can be a huge ass in these games  :D)

A polished, modern day 2d isometric version of fallout would be a great homage to their glory days and it would allow for a much bigger and more complex world than a 3d one can provide (because the graphics won't be as taxing so more content). Plus the previous titles turned based tactical gameplay was super addicting, if you add in zoom in shots for Critical hits with all its glorious gory goodness that would put it over the edge as one of the best modern games out there.

Plus fallout 2 has an impressive little Pip mod.

I have little interest in Fallout 4 unless they're going to really and truly change how they make the game. Fallout 3, New Vegas, Oblivion and Skyrim were all plagued with the same stupid issues. I'm not just talking glitchiness either. They all had serious design problems, some were even said to have changed when Skyrim came out but it's literally just a prettier version of the same shit they did before.
