I actually enjoyed this Abyss, for once. There were no obnoxious bosses and enemies that do nothing but run all over the place. I also have to thank Ayato and Yae Miko, because they performed exceptionally well there. They make such a great taser team. At first I was kinda unsure, but now I'm sure, no regrets wishing for Ayato. 

holy moly!! did you managed to record by any chance? I would to see both Yae and Ayato being the powerhouse

Also for anyone who can answer this I just finished with the new chasm quest but I was confused about the part when the Abyrss guy wanting to use the device to cleanse the curse but knowing the consequence. so what's the point of all this again? 

 

Last, the last chapter for the new event...all I have to say... can't wait for playable scaramouche 3.1.

There are always spots for new characters if they have the potential.  Especially for hydro ones, as I have the least DPS characters with that element.

I'm not sure about Yelan at the moment, I need to see her kit in action first to decide. I still want Kokomi if there'll be a chance, that's for sure. 

So... I'll see once we'll know more about Yelan.

Yeah same, yelen is tempting so I'm on the same boat here- I actually wanted to know and see how her dmg and skills looks in a field.

I’m not really sure about the quest, I’d have to go back and read it again.

I’m still planning to get Ayaka but I’ll probably skip Yelan so I can save for Sumeru characters. That’s what I said about Ayato though

Yeah, seeing the numbers and stuff, that's what I need to make the decision. She is tempting, that's true, but we'll see. 

 

It is indeed, but I liked the part with Klee the most.

Basically, the Abyss Order initiated the cleansing because there was a 1% chance of success, and our Traveler was against it because there was 99% chance of failure and most cursed beings involved didn't have a say about participation. No party knew exactly what would happen, so they were operating according to their own personal views.

at this point most of us couldn't resist but to try to collect every single characters  I heard Cyno would be the first sumeru character to have a banner but god please don't make him a spear user.. Also heard from the leaks that at least three new fatui harbingers are going to be playable. Not sure how that's gonna work if they're planning to release three new weekly bosses. But I'm not mad because it's kinda nice they decided to release them faster instead of releasing them one in every year.

Ah you don't like spear users? I usually like them since I like fast-attacking characters. But no matter which weapon he has I will definitely pull for him . Ooh I hope he (or someone in Sumeru) has a scimitar.

Yeah, the part with Sayu--- I mean Sara was nice too. 

Also big oof when Ei entered the chat and referred to that figuri--- I mean, the "Statue of Her Excellency, the Almighty Narukami Ogosho, God of Thunder" as a "figurine" at the end when she discovered what that fuss was all about. Sara was like "it's NoT a FiGuRiNe, it's the [insert that long-name here], do i make myself clear?!" and the Shogun casually said "this figurine". Lol rip

Awesome! I got Ayaka on her first banner and she is indeed nice and fun to play, although it's hard to find a good budget sword for her, so I hoped I'll get her signature weapon on this banner, but after spending over 5000 primos, no luck so far. :c

So much collecting, so many hours and days of boring, repetitive content to get absolutely nothing in return, heh. That's a really boring and underwhelming game, as far as gameplay design goes. 

Inb4 the unforged would/will pop out anyway, that's my luck after all.

The whole plot about the Traveler is their search for the god that got them in this mess. The next closest lands are Sumeru and Fontaine. There's probably gonna be a quest that directs us towards Sumeru.

I personally don't complain, I even think it's kinda good, because on the bright side,

- there will be more time to gather primos for new chars and stuff (atm I don't have enough, so it's not like I'd experience anything new in the update anyway)

- they mentioned apologems (probably laughable amount as always, but still)

 

It's not like it's a big loss. I actually see more benefits out of this personally.

 

Same as I don't complain, that the pot system is still down. There too, I'm actually glad they are unable to work on it currently. Let's be honest, the pot is garbage, I very much prefer receiving 5000 coins weekly than having a feature I literally don't use anyway. I silently hope for it to be down for as long as possible.

 

Heh, look, the game is so poorly designed, that I'm literally happy for the delays and stuff lol. The compensation for troubles is more profitable than actually playing the game, that's how bad it is.

Disclaimer: Of course that's as far as the game is concerned. I'm aware of the situation they're going through now over there and what I said isn't meant to joke about it.

Well I love playing around the teapot so I am a bit disappointed that it is still down  but I’m sure it’ll come back eventually… and with my exams coming up I really don’t need to spend hours getting distracted by decorating my three houses 

But anyway, yeah health and safety certainly takes priority and it is better to have a postponed patch than having one on time that is incomplete and filled with bugs.

I loved the concept, because I like such things, but the limits are so horrible, that the game already yells at me for barely decorating a tiny fraction of available area. This is incredibly underwhelming. I've lost interest in that feature, because creativity is so drastically blocked. I decorated my pot while it was still possible to exploit a bug, that allowed one to stack objects and generally put them outside bounds. 

I did some crazy stuff and they fixed the bug after a while. So now, I don't want to touch anything, I just enjoy my crazy stuff that is impossible to create now. I've been thinking of redecorating my pot, but knowing, that decorating hardly 10% of available space will be the limit, I don't care. It's not worth removing the impossible-to-do-now stuff I have.  

I did give it legitimate attempts, but it's too limited. Haven't been decorating for a long, long time now anyway, so for me it's basically getting 5000 coins for free without any drawbacks whatsoever. The only thing I'd like to redecorate is to switch characters for friendship leveling, but at the moment only 2 characters out of 41 don't have fully leveled friendship yet, but they're on their way with that, so I'll be fine without putting them in the pot. 

I wish they would give the pot system more love. It definitely needs improvements and optimizations. I absolutely don't understand why they were so triggered to fix clipping objects. Since the beginning this company is ruining the fun by silently fixing innocent little bugs that don't cause any harm but actually enhance the player experience, yet they still haven't fixed the actual obnoxious bugs to this very day. They really are doing a terrible job at prioritizing stuff. :c

I want to see Yelan's kit first, then I'll decide. I already have Xiao, so there, skip. I don't have Itto, but like last time, I'm not hyped for that character (geo element kinda meh), would rather save for someone else.

I'll wish for weapons a bit though. The bow seems okay and if I'd lose to the other weapon, at least Xiao would get a nice spear I guess.

I tried Genshin Impact, and I'm sorry to say I did not enjoyed it. At all. It eats up the battery life from my phone, but also heating it up really quickly. As immersive as it seemed well... it just drastically fails to give me any and all appeal and just uninstalled it afterwards. Never again will I touch a game that's not very beginner-friendly and that it eats up battery life from my phone too much.

In my opinion it should never be a mobile game in the first place. Many games make phones struggle and thus obviously eat the battery, and here we're talking about actual 3D open world game that weights a LOT. The weight alone is already a problem, because some people already panic, that they can hardly fit the game on their devices and the game is still in-progress, constantly growing in size.

I play it on PC only and I wish it was a PC/console game only. I strongly dislike the fact, that the game is also available on mobile. While it's cool it is versatile like this, that is sadly where all the limits come from, and most likely reason why they actually removed some of the game's content, to probably save up some space for new content.

Anyway, I get what you mean, it is a very demanding game for mobile platform. My phone can hardly run it, at like 10FPS at best lol. My phone is a mid-tier I'd say, I don't play mobile games, so didn't need anything better.

 

And yeah, it is not beginner-friendly. The game design is absolutely flawed in that regard. Like, to level up some characters, one has to grind end-game resources and I saw many new players struggle and complain on that.

 

As much as I like the game, or rather its concept and potential, generally, when asked, I don't recommend anyone trying it out. After all, it's pretty much a cancer, that is designed to suck up your time and money in exchange for pretty much nothing.

Isn't that what every single community/fandom does though?  There always are people who get triggered when someone says something bad about something they love.  The genshin community is quite a mixed bag I'd say, but as usual, those who don't care what you'll think of them are the loudest (esp. on twitter, the homeland of people who shouldn't have an access to the internet).

There are lots of very friendly people there too from what I've seen, but personally I very rarely interact with the community.

 

I guess it's for high-end phones and tablets. Surprisingly, I see tons of people playing this on tablets, so seems like it serves its purpose. But for me as a PC player, the mobile version is only a weight that drags the game down. Heh, if the genshin community heard that, they'd destroy me lol.

I would say I almost agree. The game is only at 3/7 regions (plus probably more stuff after that) and is already having issues with fitting on mobile devices. I think it’s pretty clear Mihoyo is betting on there being more powerful phones 5-10 years down the line and mobile players will need to buy a new phone to play the game when it updates to newer versions.

However, I recently went on a ~3 week trip and didn’t bring my laptop with me, so I downloaded the game on my phone and I must say it was really convenient to be able to open up the app each day to grab my Welkin. I had originally planned on keeping up with my dailies as well, but after a couple days of trying to figure it out, I gave up… my phone screen is just too small .
