just like in the title.whats the worst video game you ever played and why.

ill start with fnaf 3. i love the game franchise but this title was a total disappointment because its way too easy, can be beaten without doing anything and isnt even a little bit scary.

Hmmm maybe sonic 06 but like had some fun playing it tbh. And replayed it multiple times back in the day.

So being that I actually finished it....then it's the worst.

However, there are games I never finished or stopped playing quickly because they are poorly made, boring, or just whatever:

Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time, Minecraft, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, Star Wars Battlefront (remake),

Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Battle 22. I mean, if I'm being honest, I've probably played objectively worse games, but I go with this one because I was a big DBZ fan when I bought it and I thought it looked really cool, but then I got it and it played like ass and only played it for a couple of days before rotting on my shelf for the rest of time

Now I'm sure it was a good game for those that are into it, but I could not stand the one Monster Hunter game I tried. Don't remember which one, but it was a handheld version and it's the only game I've ever returned to the store.

That's fine, Monster Hunter is not for everyone at all. More people have an easier time getting into Monster Hunter World though, I even heard someone who didn't like the handheld games praise it in real life.

I've always called the NES version of Ghostbusters the worst game I've ever played, but the most disappointing "good game" I've ever played is definitely Metal Gear Solid 5. The Phantom Pain, they could not have picked a better subtitle.

The game that annoyed me the most is Ghost Master - The Gravenville Chronicles, i despise that game, it is mostly stupid and frustrating in my eyes and i got the worst rage out from that game, so it definitely won.

Inuyasha: Secret of the Divine Jewel. I can look past the GBA spritework, choppy animations, and sound effects; but not that absurd encounter rate, and escape mechanic (you had to use escape per character. As if the devs wanted you to deal with hours of random encounters :Cozy:)

Secret Service for the PS2. Controls are jank and the gameplay isn't fun.

Brunswick Pro Bowling for PS2. For some reason I always find a lot of licensed bowling games to be absolutely garbage. It's bowling, how hard is it to make a decent game? Ten Pin Alley on the PS1 is a very good bowling game, and yet bad bowling games still were made.

Sonic 06 was a nightmare. Along with Sonic Boom. (The Wii U version)

Naughty Bear. Although I will say it was entertaining watching Callmekevin play this. You’re a killer teddy bear. When I bought it as a teen the guy in GameStop was like this game is terrible and is getting terrible reviews. You don’t want this. Any money spent on this game is too much money. I bought it anyway and I realized that he was right. I didn’t want it lol.

The monster high games they made were also disappointing.

Out of all the games that I played, these three are the worst out of all the ones I've played.

Advanced Dungeons and Dragons: Heroes of the Lance on the NES. Horrid controls, awful gameplay, such as enemies being a pain to kill, and being able to softlock yourself in an unwinnable situation due to how the game's save feature works. There's also a huge problem with its gameplay: if you lose Goldmoon for good, then the game is unwinnable because she's the only one who can damage the final boss.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Ubi Soft/NMS Software) is a dishonorable mention. For a late 1993 game, it has drab and lifeless graphics. Poor gameplay is also an issue: bosses take forever to be defeated. It's also got a huge screw you moment at the end of the game. If you pick the wrong chalice, you have to play the entire game over again, regardless of how many lives you had.

Edit: There is one that I missed. It's Wally Bear and the NO Gang. It's an unlicensed NES game that not many have heard of. Those who have played it, despised it for the awful controls, terrible story with plot holes, horrid level design, and the fact you do not get any continues in an artificially difficult game. The music is also dreadful, not only for its lack of variety, but also for its cacophonic melodies. It's the hardest game I played, but it's for the absolute wrong reasons why.
