I like the sound of freight train horns. When I hear them at night it helps me relax and fall asleep. I also like snow and cold places. I don't get much snow where I live now, but I used to love walking in it when I lived up north where there was some seriously frigid temps. Being just a little uncomfortable like that is pleasant to me for some reason.

I'm not sure why but I find war/battlefield soundscapes on Youtube very relaxing. Maybe just because there is a lot going on and it's easy to drown out my own thoughts with more chaotic sounds.

I just recently got into listening to ASMRs, especially when you listen to it in high volume. My favorite are the crashing chocolates and natures ones. So relaxing.

Dishwashing really relaxes me. Mechanical repetitive movements, sound of streaming water, and feeling that you don't waste your time in vain.

Pacing back and forth just idly thinking. Also I really enjoy music with a, sad, creepy or melancholic ambience to them.

For those who watched the movie "War of the Worlds" from 2005, I find the sounds produced by the tripods relaxing. It was my favorite movie when I was a child so I watched it quite a few times and I guess it printed itself in my brain as an happy childhood memory!

I don't know if this counts as "unusual" but I think talking to @Treeglow Flicker +@Ice Princess Silky +@Lucky Bolt is relaxing for me.

They're my Best Friends and talking to them makes me SO HAPPY and at peace especially during the times when I'm unhappy or stressed.

Long drives, I literally can't stay awake if I'm a passenger and the journey itself lasts for at minimum 10 minutes. It's been my main reason for not wanting to take any kind of driving test, not that I really ever cared too anyway

Stargazing, creating art and subsequently destroying it, driving at night with the top down on my little convertible, watching dvd movies in the altogether with a glass of wine, and drawing blueprints.

Not all of these are exactly unusual, but maybe to some people they are.
